“Hotel is nice and close enough to the French Quarter, central business district, and the emerging art district to be convenient for most visitors.”

“Filled with New Orleans charm and a gracious, accommodating staff, Le Pavilion falls short in the rooms - they feel old and desperately need a refresh. Other than that, we loved our stay. We'd definitely return.”

“This is an excellent hotel with a lot of historic charm and ambiance. I would definitely stay here again. This would be a great place for families who want to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter but still be close enough to walk there whenever they wanted.”

“When we arrived, they gave us an already occupied room and then a room with two beds. Finally they gave us a single bed and we loved our room. Room service is a bit slow, but reasonably priced. Their breakfast buffet is a little on the expensive side, but delicious and super fast. Parking is reasonably priced and the doorman is super helpful. They give you free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with milk from 10-11pm as a midnight snack. I would say this is the quietest room I've ever slept in. Usually on business trips I have trouble sleeping because people are loud in the hallways, but I had perfect nights of sleep all 4 nights. The pool has an amazing view off of the roof.”

“Classy and Regal, but Quaint? Peanut Butter and Jelly in the Lobby at night was pretty fun. Service staff was excellent and I heard the restaurant was nice, but didn't have a chance to visit it. Brunch looked awesome. Just a short walk to Canal & Bourbon. Trolly service to Canal made it easy to get around town without a car.”

“The hotel was exceptional. It is my favorite hotel in New Orleans. However, it was our first time sleeping on the left side of the hotel and it was somewhat noisy with the outside traffic. I would definitely stay there again just request the opposite side. I am also very pleased with the staff at the hotel. They made me feel like I was the only guest in the hotel.”

“During check in was told I was upgraded to a king room which as it turned out was actually smaller than and not as nice as the double queen rooms. Bed mattress was just so so, not as plush and comfortable as most 4 star hotels Ive stayed at. Basic cable did have HBO but no on demand movies to purchase. No vending machines and no store close by to purchase snacks and etc. Had to use their high priced mini bar for refreshments. Internet service was very weak and never got a good signal for wireless notebook.”

“Too small for family travel. Not modern enough for business travel, no place to plug in computer (electrical). Decor was beautiful though.”

“Le pavilion is a fine establishment celebrating 100 years of high quality service. Southern hospitality in a convenient location with bed and breakfast charms and personalized touches. Concierge staffs exceed expectations at every turn. We were treated like royalty on a peasant's budget. We wish to return for a future stay.”

“Beautiful rooms. Hospitality plus from the staff. I thought the housekeeping staff was not quite 4 star, but would emphasize I got the sense they were training, and I would give them a second chance. Room was clean, but one day someone else's half finished drink was left in the room; the room's clock radio's alarm was not turned off from the prior guest (5 a.m. ouch). Not horrible, but not really 4 star.”

“A good value for a unique, stylish hotel from another era. Great staff, friendly, attentive. Room was too small to work effectively at the desk with a laptop and papers. Bathroom was a little worn and in need of some attention (e.g., loose faucet, dripping shower, tight space).”

“I am conflicted about this hotel as a 4 star. The pros: the most unbelievable lobby you ever experienced, 5 or 6 star lobby. Mind blowing. Unbelievably friendly service. Historic. A truly special experience. On the other hand, I am spoiled on 4 star hotel rooms and bathrooms. The room and bathroom is historic in a bad way, as in small with older bathroom fixtures. I mean if you want the total historic experience, you'll be in nirvana, but if you want a large, modern room and pristine, modern bathroom, it will not be up to par. But the fixtures are not rusty, old. They really do a great job with maintenance and cleanliness. I'm not a big fan of restored, historic hotels, or "boutique" hotels, but this one is the cream of the crop and I would stay here over the Hilton riverside for the same price which is more like days inn.”
