• They gave us a smoking room when we didn't ask for one.

• I was double charged, the room was dirty, smelly, and full of flies.

“I will never stay at a Econ Lodge again, and when I made the reservation I felt like in was in a motel that caters to single men. I was disgusting. And the service I received when I called you all to complain and find out why I was charged by you and again charged by the hotel was not acceptable to me. Maybe you all should check these rooms that you are renting out. The room rate I was charged at the hotel was 45 plus tax and believe me it didn't even come close to be worth that and you had the nerve to charge me 65.00.So thank you for nothing.”

• Our hotel stay was horrible. We saw inch long roaches crawling on the wall, even in the check-in area. We pointed this out to the attendant.

“Please remove them from your listings, so that no one ever associates your name with theirs. I'm appalled that I was charged for this room and expect to be compensated. Had it not been extremely late when we checked in I would never have exposed my family to this. The room was repulsive. My child's bedtime prayer was that we wouldn't be bitten by spiders or roaches which we saw in our room. Before leaving we even found a roach in my husband's suitcase. The floor around the A/C was wet from leaking. When we called to get directions to the hotel from the front desk, the attendant said she was new and couldn't give us directions. This contributed to us arriving at the hotel at 2 A.M. With no forewarning, we were called at 11:00 in the morning and told we would be charged for an additional day if we didn't leave immediately. The night clerk failed to mention the 11:00 check-out time. We're always bragging on our bookings, but this hotel stay will definitely go in the Hall of Shame.”

• It was dirty, inefficient, roaches, smelled of smoke, discourteous.

“This hotel is awful. I would rather spend a night in a cardboard box. I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it to anyone.”

• Great staff, very clean facility.
• Could upgrade breakfast bar (add fruit not just cereal and donuts.
