  • I like that they have a nice breakfast and that they have happy hour. I also really love the location.
  • The only thing I really don't like about the hotel is the parking lot.

“I think that this is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for a hotel that is close to downtown attractions.”

  • It had a good view out our window.
  • Not clean, not family friendly, located by a train station with about 20 trains going through, staff gave bad directions to restaurant , just not good.

“We felt this hotel was not worth the money, we were hoping to be in a safe, family friendly area and we just picked the wrong hotel. It was dirty, not updated, the staff was friendly but not very helpful, our room was right by a train station and the night we stayed there was about 2 trains an hour that came through all night long. We asked a hotel staff person for directions and the ones they gave us were not right. It was just not for our family and I felt disappointed for as much as we paid for the hotel. I was totally shocked at what we actually got for that money. There is a lot to do in that area, if you don't have kids but we have kids so it was not the right fit.”

  • Complimentary hot breakfast.
  • Carpets needed replacing.

“Fairly nice, but on the older side. It needed some renovations. We had some maintenance problems in our rooms and the maintenance staff was quick and helpful.”

  • We were pleased with the experience at Embassy Suites and will stay there again.
  • There was a lot of construction downtown which made driving to and from hotel difficult.

“Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Roomy suites with many of the amenities of home.”

  • Easy access to highway.
  • Poor concierge service. No real knowledge of local restaurants.

“Lots of kids, (spring break). Area is depressed. No water front activity. Near many empty buildings. Walking distance to Arch and river boats. (River is filthy and nothing to see). Other areas had better restaurants, I had known. No one there seemed to know much about "what to do" or "where to go". We learned more on line than they knew. Loop area would have been a nicer area to stay.”

  • The breakfast was nice.
  • The room service lady was rude.

“This was overall a very nice hotel that over looked the River with a nice view. The breakfast in the morning was very good. But the room service was not very good. When I called, I received a voice mail and when the young lady brought up the order, I was very nice even though it took them forever and when I said Thank you, the lady did not even respond. But other than that it was a very nice stay.”
