• Great location, friendly staff, wonderful food.
• I honestly had no complaints.

“I stayed at the Edison Walthall last month. It was very nice. The hotel is in need of some work, but I did notice that they had workers on site while I was there renovating. I was in Jackson on business. They offer very nice meeting rooms & banquets. The bar is very quiet & nice for business as well. The restaurant was excellent! Very good food & also delicious food for the banquets. The location is very good as it is in the center of downtown. I definitely advice people to give this old landmark a try.!!”

• Facility outdated and staff unconcerned with customer complaints.

“I stayed at this hotel as a friend recommended it and it was ideally located to the facility I was going to . My mother and my two children stayed in Jackson because my children were having their tonsils and adenoids taken out. We arrived late and the staff was very friendly and the lobby was extremely nice. That is were the compliments end. The room was out by the pool very outdated the bathroom is so small you cant turn around. The toilet wouldn't flush, which we didn't notice since we arrived so late. But we had to be up and when four girls are trying to get ready-it was a major problem. The heat was either on full blast or off and was extremely loud. So we were up all night from the noise and sweat or freezing. We had to be up very early and to the medical facility. My mother and I were both exhausted and had to take care of two ill kids the next day and night (We stayed elsewhere the next night). My main problem is when we were checking out the desk guy could have cared less. He didn't offer anything-except all of our heat units do that! We left a message for a manager to call us, but never received a call. I am sure other rooms may have been nice inside not around the pool but those rooms were almost creepy that we were in. I would believe that a hotel with such clientèle's of business people would be more inclined to offer and unhappy customer something for such a terribel service..”
