“Was very nice 5 years ago when was a Doubletree. Definitely run down and kind of shabby from what I remember. Probably not a bad deal for the price. Considering I paid about the same as 5 years ago when was much nicer and a double tree. Was definitely disappointed. Comfort Inns are usually nicer, and cleaner, and smell better. It was obvious the facility did not get the level of care that it once did. It wasn't nasty just not as nice and definitely not as clean. For the same money we usually get nicer with Priceline.”

“The rooms were nice especially the beds. The elevators were dirty as were the hallways. Lots of people hanging around and using loud voices felt a little unsafe.No restaurants around to eat next day.”

“Excellent hotel. I have stayed here many times in years past when I was a pilot for TWA. The hotel is in much better condition now and the bed was one of the best hotel beds that I have ever slept in, and we're talking thousands of hotel beds over a 31 year career.”

“The staff would come by without fail at 9 sharp to collect the left over nasty pastries and usually the guy would yell "Yo, excuse me, breakfast over". And another thing, the maids sit in the hallways all day shooting the breeze. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life, my entire life. If we could have found somewhere else, we would have gone there the second night. But everything was booked because of the holiday weekend. Oh and lastly, they have signs and security cameras in the parking lot telling you to park at your own risk. That said, we walked by more than one vehicle with the window smashed in. Do not ever stay here.”

“The pool is small but the room was nice and big. The TV didn't always work and they were short staffed. Customer service was low at this hotel. It is conveniently located by the airport and not far from downtown. The elevator wait was long as well, not sufficient for the amount of people there. I would not stay here again.”

“We chose this hotel because of the price & proximity to the airport. It was also next door to Budget car rental where we were turning in a car. That was good. When we checked in after 11pm, there was only one employee on duty & she was at the desk. As I mentioned earlier, the only parking was behind the hotel with no security & felt very dangerous. If I had been there without my husband, I would have been very uncomfortable. At least if there had been a security person in the parking lot, we would have been more comfortable. I definitely would not stay there again. Even for the price difference.”

“The hotel address says St. Louis, but I expected to be closer to downtown. It is right by the airport so it is perfect for business travelers. The pool area was too hot and all the plants were dead.”

“They had no parking and you had to get a permit for your car to park there, and if you couldn't find a spot they expected you to part at their sister hotel 10 miles down the road and shuttle over, other than that it was a hotel for business travelers.”

“When we checked into our room the carpet was wet from a previous guest leaving the tub stopped up and the water overflowed into the area in front of sinks. After, two night floor was still wet so we were assigned another room equal to same accommodations. We requested compensation for the inconvenience and the manager said he would make an adjustment.”

“This hotel was more than we expected. Nice friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure, hot showers, the pool was great and great location. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again next time we visit St. Louis!”

“The room could be called only functional. Though it was clean and the internet worked well, I would not stay there again. The air could not keep the room cool, there wasn't enough parking and what there was poorly lit, not to mention the stench out in front of the hotel, that was coming from who knows where, was overpowering. The hotel was hard to find, don't call the hotel for directions - the ones of the phone are incorrect. Not my best hotel stay.”

“No parking. 300 spaces for 500 rooms. A lady staying there said the hotel let people who were flying in and out, use the parking for their vehicles. We had to park somewhere else and take a 30 minute shuttle back to the hotel. That is the terrible. Wonder if the comfort inn company knows about that?”
