• Enjoyed the hot breakfast items included in the continental breakfast.
• The walls of the room could use more insulation. Could hear the neighbor coughing during the night.

“The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft. Cracker Barrel was in walking distance. We were in town three days for a family wedding and the hotel met our needs nicely.”

• Was very clean, comfortable, and up to date; hot breakfast was a bonus!
• I found nothing to dislike.

“The hotel was very easy to get to. Was very clean & modern. Rooms were spacious with expected amenities. The hot breakfast was an unexpected bonus which provided additional savings. We were very pleased with our stay!”

• Loved the location, staff, and breakfast!
• The pool was okay - crowed, and needed cleaned.

“We were 100% satisfied with this hotel. The staff was great! The free breakfast was biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, waffles, bagels, muffins, juice, and milk. Great way to start our day. The hotel had several other families, so we didn't feel paranoid when our kids were a little louder than most guests. The location was great for going to the zoo, shopping and dining. The pool was really crowed when we were there and there was hair floating. The bottom of the pool was slippery. It was a busy weekend, probably just need cleaned. Very happy. Will stay again and again.”

• Very clean, convenient, family friendly. Staff friendly. Each room has fridge/microwave.

“This hotel definitely met my expectations. It is very clean, convenient to many attractions and the staff is friendly and helpful. Good for those with kids and/or on a budget. Loved that each room has a mini-fridge and microwave. I would stay there again and also recommend it to family and friends.”

• Parking a little congested. Not hotels fault. Construction crews that were staying there.

• Just a few minutes from downtown st. Louis on highway 55.

“For the money, Best Western Inn/St Louis Inn was wonderful. Close to
highway 55 - yet, we could not hear highway traffic. Safe and clean. Nice hotel.”

• Had a microwave and fridge in the room.
• Had smoking rooms next to non smoking rooms. Rooms had a smell other than just the cigarette smell.

“This hotel looks like it hasn't changed anything since the late 80's. I was very disappointed with the room. It was next to smoking rooms and had smoking smell and also a musty almost mold like smell. Overall a bad experience.”

• Staff was friendly, helpful didn't have to beg for extra towels as in other places staff monitoring breakfast was great!
• Lower level back entrance did not latch, accessible to anyone lurking about. I wouldn't have stayed if daughter with me.

“The room was clean and bright, free of smoke or other odors. Plenty of towels, hot water, many lights throughout, could read from any seat in the room at night. Our coffee maker had no pot, the front desk staff (didn't get his name, sorry) was quite expedient in locating a replacement. I had my own coffee, however I had forgotten to buy filters, so I had to fashion one, as the hotel used pod coffee. At breakfast, even though the tables were all full and people swarming the area, the woman working the area was friendly and kept everything full enough that no one had to wait for items such as sausage, etc. There was a dog kept in a room down the hall from ours, however, it wasn't loud enough to disturb my sleep. The only complaint would be the lower level door at rear of the building had no latch, and was easily opened by anyone outside. I had no qualms staying because it was just the 2 of us without our kids, however if our daughters had been with us, we would have strongly requested an alternate arrangement due to potential safety issues. FYI, this door looked as if it had been in this state for quite some time.”

• Bug on bathroom floor.

“This hotel wasn't particularly clean or nice. The bed wasn't bad though, I did have to kill a silverfish bug on the bathroom floor when I got there. The breakfast however, was excellent. Hot scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties and biscuits and gravy.”

• A/c started making noise.

“I checked in very quickly, but seemed to be light on staff, very helpful and friendly. I was expecting pastry with waffle bar. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, fruit, and muffins. They were all very good. Will be staying there again.”

• Price, breakfast, friendliness, will definitely stay again.
• AC was a little noisy the last night.

“Upon arrival we checked in with no wait very helpful about best place to park to be close to room. But they only had 1 person at the desk. a little under staffed but they were very friendly and helpful. (well worth the little wait) pool was clean along with rooms, we were expecting waffle or toast for breakfast. We had biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, and fruit (all was wonderful).”

“The manager was very nice and helpful, however, the room did not smell fresh. I found a hair in my sheets, there was a hole in the bathroom wall fixed with toilet paper and the pool was not heated and was a strange green color.”
