“Location was perfect & we had our family visit us at the pool so it was great & we had fun. Love the restaurant next door Helen Fitzgerald's.”

“We took the kids to the zoo and grants farm, the hotel was in great location to the things we wanted to do. Plenty of restaurants, and shopping all right there. It was clean, and had a gaming area for my boys to play at. They had a blast.”

“We would stay there again, it was really great for the kids, everything was in side and we did not have to worry about them being outside with out us, plus they have a Pacman game and the best part was every one went swimming and no sunburns.”

“The room was slightly smaller than usual but was clean and comfortable. The lobby, pool, and playground area was quite dark and outdated. The pool was open to the lobby making for a humid and muggy feel inside the lobby area. Breakfast was average. WiFi was available and we used it.”

“Very good value for a family. Better pool, continental breakfast and much friendlier than most higher rated facilities I have stayed at.”

“This is a family with kids hotel, it's nice. The kids have a pool, playground and a small arcade. If
I had young children it's where I'd want to go.”

“This hotel was great for small children because of the arcade and pool areas. We would stay here again when we come to do things in St. Louis. Also, it was really close to the Zoo and Grants Farm which was wonderful! Also, the price was really affordable. I would recommend to families with children.”

“Motel is convenient to downtown and suburbs, however, it does not meet my expectations of a Days Inn. Reception desk was hard to find. Lobby is large metal building with the pools and game room inside. Some rooms open to the lobby area so running air conditioners spew hot air into lobby, making it extremely hot and carpets outside rooms damp. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. We were in a 2 room suite. Nice to have 2 bathrooms for 2 parents and 2 teenage sons. Toilets were tricky to flush. Showers ran hot and cold. Sink leaked and had for a long time since wood under sink was warped, moldy and musty. Leak made carpet wet and wet tiles in bathroom were treacherous. When we told the front desk about the leak they said that the previous management had let the hotel run down and they were trying to catch up with deferred maintenance, however, no one ever checked the leak in our sink. Our rooms were never cleaned on Saturday. Iron was broken and leaked water on to my clothes. Our room was next to the bar, but with the AC running all night we never heard a thing. We were the only guests staying in our wing. Wireless internet was available. Rooms were cheap.”

“We were going to the zoo and we were traveling with a two year old who loved the pool and the kiddy's pool. We also loved the location because it was close to restaurants and Wal-mart. We were very satisfied!”

“We didn't let our kids touch anything in the room it was so disgustingly filthy. A suspicious white substance was on the armchair and the walls were scuffed from floor to ceiling. We couldn't bathe our kids because of the filth. We woke up several times from the pain inflicted by the poor-quality bed. The continental breakfast was never stocked so 20 people had to fight over 5 remaining day-old muffins. It cost us over $70 but wasn't worth even half that. It was the worst stay we've ever had at a motel/hotel.”

“The lobby was like a Chuck E. Cheese. There were games and a playground inside for the kids. The pool was nice too. The staff was friendly. The only problem that I had was the toilet and the shower. The toilet, you had to play with it to get it to flush, but once you figured out the trick to it, it was ok. The shower was dreadful. You either had to take a really hot shower or a really cold shower. You couldn't get it to where there was a happy medium. Also, our room was right next door to the public restroom, and every time that someone would flush a toilet, the already hot shower would literally burn you. I didn't utilize the breakfast until the last day of our stay but it was a normal continental breakfast, only difference was there was biscuits and gravy. All in all, the hotel met my expectations for the price I paid, and my son loved the lobby.”

“It was the second time we've stayed there, both on business trips to St. Louis. This time was by far better than the first due to the hotel's upgrading of cleanliness and friendliness. We will stay there again because the location is perfect for our needs.”

“Clean and comfortable. Very good price. Next door to pub so a bit noisy on Saturday night but not enough to keep us awake. Only bad point was lack of action on faulty toilet. Both written and verbal requests for maintenance were not actioned.”
