• We were assigned to a smoking room.

• The bed was more comfortable then other hotels I stayed for the price.
• Would have liked to been able to get refrigerator for room. Vent in room didn't work.

• Nice pool.
• Not many restaurants or shopping places around the vicinity.

“We had problems with the housekeeping in our room. After the first morning we were there, the housekeeper did not clean our room at all. But then again the next morning there was one bed not made and the floor not vacuumed, only 2 towels for 4 people. We alerted other housekeepers about the situation and they came in right away to clean the rest of the room for us. Overall, it was a nice hotel and I probably would stay there again.”

• The look of the building is Grand.
• The room was terrible.

“It wasn't cockroach infested or anything like that. It was in disrepair. The bed was fairly comfortable though. Both the iron and ironing board were broken. The poor clerk was there when I checked in and when I checked out. I wondered if he slept.”

• Extremely clean. Amazing shower.
• Bed needed to be replaced.

“This hotel is clean. Its in a nice and very safe area. Easy access to the freeway with a QT Gas Station right next to it. The restroom was extremely clean and toilets are of the kind that does not clog. AC and heater worked fine. Only complaint is the bed seemed worn out. Besides that, I will definitely use this hotel for all of my future trips to St. Louis.”

• Bathroom in disrepair, leaking faucet, sink was falling, remote broken, clogged drains.

• Quiet, good location for us, clean room.
• The gentleman talking loud and forever on his cell phone during breakfast. He should have taken it to his room.

“Quite surprised with the hotel overall. For the price we didn't know what to expect but was hoping to rely on La Quinta's reputation. When you travel and are only at your hotel for a short time its difficult to pay the price a lot of the hotels charge. This was perfect.”

• We walked to Westport Plaza; breakfast was free with good variety.
• Clerk antagonized us.

“It's a good value for the price, relatively clean, good water pressure, decent amenities, good free breakfast, and more mile walking distance to Westport Plaza.”

• Convenient location. Close to wineries and other attractions.
• Hot tub not accessible in morning until 9 am.

• When we got the correct room, it was clean!
• The service we had!

“We had several problems with the woman at the receptionist desk when we were checking in. We had to go down to the front desk 4 times and get 3 different rooms. The first room was dirty still, never cleaned; the second one had people in it when we opened the door, and the third room we had problems with the keys working along with being stuck with a smoking room when we had reservations for a non-smoking room.”

• Good value, great layout of bathroom.
• Bedding is a harsh and thin, smokers had taken out the battery of the smoke alarm and the floor stank of tobacco smoke.
