  • Lots of restaurants and nightlife just outside the door.

“Clean, comfortable and relatively classy hotel in a central location. Close to airport, casinos, St. Charles and located in a complex with thirteen restaurants, several nightclubs and a small lake.”

  • Room was cold and the wall heater very noisy - hard to sleep. No free internet access.

“The only good thing about this hotel was it's location. It's located in a cute little plaza with plenty of things to do in the evening. You don't need your car for nightlife. There was noise at all hours of the night. There was little done about it. The folks at the front desk told us we needed to understand that there's not much they can do about guest yelling through their halls. At breakfast we talked to two other couples who experienced similar problems with the front desk staff and the loud halls. Our shower curtain was growing mold. When we brought it up, they told us they could change the shower curtain. Within our two night stay the curtain was never changed after complaining 3 times. We paid $25 for a hot breakfast that contained 5 items to choose from. If the breakfast was hot like it was supposed to be it might not be a problem. Cold sausage and pancakes are not appetizing. I've stayed at hotels who's free breakfast is much better. Bathroom door did not close and deadbolt was broken. Sorry for the inconvenience is all we heard. We checked out a day early and will never return. This hotel was a huge disappointment!”

  • The staff was awesome!
  • The noise, mildew by swimming pool, no microwave or fridge.

“The staff was terrific. I would like more thought to be put into putting young partiers on the floor of families who like their sleep. The rooms were very clean. Visually nice hotel and bars/restaurants within walking distance. Beds were comfy.”

  • This hotel was conveniently located to I-270. The area was nicely landscaped and offered many fine dining choices all within walking distance.

  • Upon arriving we found out hotel was overbooked, but they put us in a room in the nearby Doubletree.
  • The Doubletree actually was a nicer hotel it seemed, more updated and quiet.

“The receptionist was very apologetic and professional about the inconvenience of going to another hotel because they were overbooked. But the Doubletree Westport was a great alternative!

  • Must pay attention on how to get there, the road signs are small.

  • Dated room, $10 daily internet charge, poor cable channels.

“I was charged $10 per day for internet access. The room was very dated. Cable channels were inadequate with no access to Fox News. The desk clerk couldn't have cared less.”

  • Noise from elevator and maids was noticeable.

  • It was close to everything we wanted to do that night.
  • No beverage machines.

“I felt the hotel was very nice and so shouldn't complain but the parking was so far away and the front desk said they were having a vendor beverage dispute so there were no soda machines and the only help they could give us was to go into the mall to buy soda. Not a good thing when you go to the mall to buy soda at 10:00 at night and the mall shops have closed already.”

  • Decent workout facility and comfy bed.
  • The shower was really small and did not have the curved curtain rod that allows extra room to not touch the curtain every time you move.

“Nice lobby with area for free Wi-Fi. Clean rooms, but needed a fresh scent. The bathroom shower area was small with a straight curtain rod so you touched the curtain every move you made. Only one sink to get ready for two people is crowded. Nice workout facility downstairs. Ice machine on the floor, but absolutely no vending machines. If you want a soda, you must order from their restaurant.”

  • The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was centrally located for our activities.
  • The pool was quite chilly. The elevators were a little scary. The parking was horrible.

“The customer service was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very nice and spacious. Prices for the restaurants seemed very high, considering there were no complimentary meals or drinks. Parking was very inconvenient in the evening hours, due to all of the restaurants and comedy club nearby.”
