• Most of the staff and location.
• Although updated it still is an older facility.

“Nice location, just off interstare 74 with easy connections to 80 and 88.Rooms clean.”

• Rooms are nice -- good renovations.
• Hallways smell smokey despite renovations; Hot tub never really works.

“Nice hotel overall. Recently renovated. The rooms are really nice and the people are great. They have over 80 TV channels. Unfortunately, the hallways reek of cigarette smoke since the smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms are mixed together. The hot tub never seems to work -- it is lukewarm and only sometimes has bubbles. They continuously claim that it will be fixed soon. But, we've been there multiple times in the past year and it is never fixed. Overall, the experience is good, however.”

• Did not like that room had sliding glass door out to pool area, was unlocked when I entered and lock was broken.

“Didn't like it-was given a smoking room and disliked the fact that most rooms had sliding glass doors. Especially disliked the fact that glass door was unlocked when I arrived at the room and the lock was broken. There was a bar installed on the door so that it could be locked from the inside, but I didn't feel very secure.”

• Great bathroom, nice pool.
• The AC/Heating needs work.

“Very nice experience, the Heating/AC system is very outdated and does not really work. The bathrooms and everything else was great.”

• Nothing.
• Dirty, smelly, poor customer service and more.

“The hotel is in a decent location but the room we had was dirty and had some bugs in it. The windows had cobwebs in it and the shower also did. They closed the pool earlier than they were supposed to also.”

• Maintenance/housekeeping staff was efficient and courteous.
• Spa/whirlpool tub did not work.

“Friendly staff, good location, nice facilities. Next time I'd check to make sure all amenities are working. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to my friends.”

• It is getting a serious and needed remodeling.
• Had to stay in a stinky smoking room.

“Hotel was undergoing major renovation and it was needed. Found rear door unsecured and broken but the front desk took care of it right away. Still left a poor first impression as this was the door we were told to enter for easy access to our room. Had a stinky double room.”

• Location from interstate was good.
• Sheetrock dust on floors and toilet base. Where was the cleaning staff not to notice this.

“The side door to the hotel that you needed a card to get in, was not locked when door was shut and never would be if not fixed. Not safe for travelers and our room was right next door to that keycard door. Next morning door the same condition.”

• Pool side rooms.
• Hot tub was not working, older hotel trying to be new, tight rooms.

“For the price, this is not good. Pool side rooms were convenient though a little tight. Beds were small but comfortable. Lobby was nice.”

• Convenient, friendly and helpful staff.
• Well worn bed.

“My expectations were not that extremely high. At the present time, this hotel is not worth the 3 star rating. Mind you the staff was great, very friendly both at check in and check out. But the room was very low key, the mattress was old and the bed was low. No bed skirt so you could see the dust bunnies under the bed. Plenty of hot water, towels, and lots of channels on the TV. We stayed on a Sunday night so there was no construction noise, but Monday morning, parking spaces were a premium item. Maybe after the remodeling is done, this hotel will live up to it's star rating again. Overall, it was okay. It was a place that had hot water for nice long shower, a bed to sleep in, and TV to relax with.”

• Convenient location.

“I will sleep under a bridge before I return to this hotel. The rooms were filthy and outdated - I was afraid to touch the phone because something was literally growing on it. The bedding was uncomfortable, with pillows like folded-up cardboard boxes. The ice bucket and its cups had not been changed. The security doors did not lock, giving access to anybody.”

• The desk manager was very helpful and friendly.
• The hot tub was not functioning; the Jacuzzi did not heat up.

“It appears the hotel is under renovation in the section we were placed. It was disappointing to find the facilities were not functioning. The mattress needed replaced and the appearance of the bed was poor (no bed spread). However, the bright spot in the visit was the desk clerk. She was very helpful and did all she could to assist us.”

• Location was terrific.
• Comforter on bed was similar to plastic - crinkled.

“Ok room for price. Rooms needed updating - but clean. Hallways need updating and vacuuming, they were creepy. My husband couldn't get in side door, had to walk around to front. Was told the key card was timed out though we were staying another night. They programmed it again, it still didn't work, so they had to do it again. He wasn't real impressed with the service he received from them or their concern about it. Probably would not chose to stay there again.”
