• Friendliness of staff and location.
• Vestibules and doorways outside of lobby need repair A/C noisy in room.

• The desk manager was very helpful and friendly.
• The hot tub was not functioning; the Jacuzzi did not heat up.

“It appears the hotel is under renovation in the section we were placed. It was disappointing to find the facilities were not functioning. The mattress needed replaced and the appearance of the bed was poor (no bed spread). However, the bright spot in the visit was the desk clerk. She was very helpful and did all she could to assist us.”

• Location was terrific.
• Comforter on bed was similar to plastic - crinkled.

“Ok room for price. Rooms needed updating - but clean. Hallways need updating and vacuuming, they were creepy. My husband couldn't get in side door, had to walk around to front. Was told the key card was timed out though we were staying another night. They programmed it again, it still didn't work, so they had to do it again. He wasn't real impressed with the service he received from them or their concern about it. Probably would not chose to stay there again.”

• Bennigans restaurant.
• Old and very rough looking.

“We had to call every evening to have the hot water turned back on; the construction crew turned it off every day. We had to argue with the front desk about it every day after the first day when they finally figured out why we didn't have any! We finally got pillow cases on our pillows on the fourth day.”

• Needs renovation.

“They're in the process of renovating and may be worthy of a 2.5 star afterwards, but right now they are definitely 2 stars. The rooms were decent but the bed was uncomfortable and paint was peeling on the walls of the entire building. The hot tub was down for several weeks and they were starting construction. They did a good job of trying to isolate the current guests from the areas under construction. Unfortunately, that meant bunching everyone next to the smoking zone and the hallways smelled of smoke. After the construction they will hopefully be better, but we have stayed there multiple times and do not think it matches up to the other 2.5 star places we've stayed in the area.”

• No bed skirt, no beside lamp, room didn't seem ready for a guest.

“The stair well was filthy with construction debris. My bed had exposed boxed springs! No bed skirt.”

• The customer service was outstanding.
• The hotel was a little bit outdated but the helpfulness of the staff counteracted that.

“We stayed there for just a short time but the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and they were very friendly. The hotel itself is a bit older and shows its age a little, but the staff more than makes up for it.”

• Staff helpful in changing rooms.
• No elevator, Hallways look very dingy.

“Original room was 2nd floor with 5 bags and no elevator. Room had only AC that barely worked and bathroom tub very old and grimy looking. Front desk swapped rooms with no hassle, but room window faced a brick wall. Lobby appeared nice, hallways smelled bad and the hallway carpets looked real dirty. I would rate this a 1.5 2 max.”

• Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
• Construction in the hallway by my room & bar glasses very dirty & the shower had no press.

“Construction always has to happen but I didn't like having to squeeze between mattresses in the hallway and seeing all the scraps lying outside in the parking lot on the ground and not in a dumpster.”

• The staff was helpful.
• There was a mess in the stairway the entire stay, this told by me but they didn't clean it often.

“There was a watch found from a previous guest in my room under a bench in the room. This would tell me they didn't clean thoroughly between guests. The staff I did meet were very friendly and efficient. I will stay there again.”

• Check in was efficient and friendly. The pool was refreshing.
• The beverage glasses and ice bucket had not been emptied or cleaned.

“The room was comfortable and airflow was decent. Although most of it was clean, there were a few details that let me know that more attention should be paid to appropriate cleaning. The pool was nice, refreshing and clean.”

• The Bennigan's was convenient.
• The bathroom was not very clean. The sink drain would not go up. The tub has residue in it as well.

“For the particular weekend I stayed there seemed to be a lot of people in the hotel. The staff seemed a bit exasperated at the line when we were checking in. There was not enough parking in the lot. As stated above the bathroom was not very clean. Having the Bennigan's attached was very nice and convenient. The location was good too.”

• The pool was attractive.

“The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. My car was broken into, staff members saw it and failed to report the break in, instead they left me to find it the following morning during the wet weather and proceeded to tell me how they saw it and asked who I knew who would have done that. I was from out of state! Obviously it was just a random break in! After talking with a few people (while my window was being repaired), I learned break ins like this happens all the time around there! Also the room was dirty and the sheets were turned inside out as if they were not washed but just flipped over. The whole experience was a nightmare. A disgusting nightmare.”

• I liked everything.

• Nice lobby with lot's of room for small casual meetings.
• Not very clean and often my room was skipped for maid service.

“Bennigans is attached and the food for lunch and dinner is reasonably good fare but they did not do breakfast well at all. The rooms were not well kept up with mold in the bathroom and maid service was spotty.”

• I really liked the layout of the pool area and the waterfall thing in the lobby.
• When you lay on the bed it sort of sunk in the middle. My wife and I were sharing a bed and it was a bit uncomfortable.

“I would recommend the hotel if you are traveling alone or just with your spouse so that you can have maybe a king sized bed. Otherwise your sleep wont be very comfortable.”

• I liked the pleasing appearance of the lobby and recreation area as well as the restaurant.
• The room could have been cleaner broken and very dirty (gross) heater vent.

“This hotel was easily accessible and near a major interstate exchange. The hotel had a pleasing appearance from the outside and from the lobby area. However, the room could have been somewhat cleaner very dirty heater vent. The restaurant (Bennigan's) was excellent.”
