• It was a place to sleep.
• Needs to be up graded, it is out dated and a little run down.

• The location was convenient and the room had everything needed for the business traveler.
• No cups in the room and I did not receive the requested 6:00 am wakeup call.

• The room had a sofa for ease of
  TV watching.
• Lobby and resturant had a strong musty odor.

“This is an older property. The living area of room was neat and clean. Liked the sofa. The bathroom renovation was not done well, but bathroom was clean so for one night stay, this is what is important. The towels were thin but again, for an overnight stay, this was not a big issue. The big negative was the musty order in the lobby and resturant. This is not a 2 star hotel. One star is being generous.”

• Friendly reception, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.

“The staff was extremely friendly upon our arrival at 1:30 in the morning. We had called ahead to inform the hotel of our late arrival due to weather and driving conditions. The gentleman behind the counter had our room keys waiting, had us a room on the first floor and close by knowing we would be tired. Our overall experience was very good and we would stay at this same Holiday Inn Select hotel again.”

“The hotel was old and needed repair on the inside and out. Bathroom was moldy and needed updating. Room was average nothing special, but clean.”

• The front desk clerk was friendly.
• It was so run down and old. AC didn't work. Awful hotel.

“It does not meet that quality at all. I would not recommend this to anyone. Such a
dirty, old, bad managed hotel.”

• Nice soap bars.
• Worn out sagging mattress. Whole place is shop worn.

“This place is worn out. The mattress was broken down. I had to lay diagonal to stay level. The walls in the hall scuffed, torn paper. Colors of walls did not match the carpet. It was so bad that I noticed. The heat had been turned off, so it took over 12 hours before I could take my coat off in the room. Very poor TV selection.”

• The pool hours made the pool very accessible for all schedules. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job, included stuffed animals arranged.
• The hot tub was disgusting! It was very small and stinky! It was also missing a handle. A table in the room would also have been nice.

“In general the hotel was a good experience. It was close to a major highway, great pool hours, the room was nice and housekeeping was great. The hotel management could do some improvements with the pool area: Make sure there are towels available at all times, clean and repair hot tub and check for repairs on pool including ladders.”

• The hotel is dated, outside is so dirty and I did not feel safe when coming back to my room at night.

“I would not stay at this hotel another time because I don't feel safe while staying there and I thought the hotel smells bad.”

• Convenient to where we were going.
• Air conditioner did not work, pool was cold.

“I would not recommend this hotel. Pool was cold, air conditioner didn't work, and door broker and maintenance had to come fix it because keys would not work. Saturday night kids running in hallways told front desk, but no action seemed to be taken.”

• The Carpets were stained so bad, that we would not take our shoes off until we got into the bed.

“The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But even though the room was clean, the rugs were not. They were stained and disgusting. Considering that this is a Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn's use to be high quality, this hotel does not meet that standard of old at all.”

• Location, comfortable beds.
• The roof leaked in the hallway and soaked our carpet from the door to near the bed.

“The hotel was older but clean. We noticed water coming into the room and soaking the carpet by the door but we were not sure where it was coming from. By morning it was soaked from the door to the bed and we let the front desk know about. She didn't apologize, but said she would have someone check it out.”
