• Very convenient and accessible to highway. Lots of restaurants nearby.
• Poor customer service in my opinion.

• Convenience to Battlefield State Park.
• Location a little unsafe feeling.

• Very affordable.
• The weird smell.

“This was not a bad place to stay. You can pretty much get to most places with little effort and driving. It is definitely affordable considering the other prices in the area. However, you get what you pay for. There was a strange smell to the room. Almost like it was a smoking conversion and they tried to mask it with cheep air freshener (Cucumber Melon maybe.). Anyway, I did not mind the price, service, or the location. Their breakfast was pretty decent. Maybe I have low standards, but there were plenty of better places to stay (hence the 2.5 star. I'm the guy who over tips.). Short stays are probably a better choice if you prefer quality over economy. Enjoy Vicksburg. The best part about the Military Park is the Ironclad ship they recovered from the Civil War.”

• Rooms were clean enough; staff was friendly. Good breakfast.
• Can't think of anything I particularly disliked. It was a run-of-the-mill hotel stay.

“I think hotels in Vicksburg are way overpriced, so with that knowledge, I really had no problems with this hotel. The staff was friendly; the room was clean - didn't get much of a price "break" though. They did have a very nice breakfast spread - a good deal in that regard.”

• Clean Room, Good Location, Friendly Staff.
• Breakfast runs till 930, but no new food was put out after 9. We had no gravy or hot eggs.

“Overall this is a very nice hotel for the price. Clean rooms, convenient to the interstate. I do wish they did not cut breakfast off so early. We went down to eat at 9:10 (cutoff was 9:30) and they told us they do not put out any more food after 9. They still made fresh waffles which were nice, but they were out of gravy and hot eggs completely.”

• Fantastic pillows.
• Others staying in the motel were washing cars in the parking lot.

“I probably would not stay there again; it seemed more of a location for highway workers and construction people. Cars were being washed in the parking lot; there was little close parking, no elevator available. Just not what I expected from comfort inn or for the money it cost.”

• Decent location in comparison to other hotels in its price range.
• Reserved nonsmoking, smoking room. Strangers banged on door at night, felt unsafe and dingy.

“Traveling through, this was a decent location in Vicksburg to stop. The room was less than special, dingy and strangers banged on our door at 3:00 am. Reserved a non-smoking room and received smoking room. Due to allergies - this was not comfortable.”

• Staff was very helpful in recommending places to see and eat.
• When we arrived, our sink was stopped up.

“The room was clean. Easy to find from highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the sink was stopped up, they sent a maintenance man right away to fix it.”
