“We paid for the last room they had available and started getting out luggage out. The lights were on so we thought that someone was in there. We went back up to the desk and told the lady, she said no one was in there. So we went up there and the room wasn't even cleaned. The only thing that was done were the beds. The whole bathroom had not been cleaned, there was hair left in the shower, and the toilet scrubber was still left in the room. There were also no towels. We went back to the desk and asked for a refund because there was no way we were going to stay there. The clerk told us that she could not give refunds and we had to wait for the manager the next morning. Well, we planned on leaving by 7 am and the manager was supposed to come at 9. Since we already paid for the room, we decided to sleep later and wait for our refund. By 9:30 we were at the front desk and the manager was not there. We called every day for a week while we were on vacation and the manager was never there. For a while I actually thought there was no manager at all. I kept calling at least once a week and left my name for the manager to call. Finally, today, I called again and I spoke to the manager. She was very rude and told me that I couldn't get the refund because there were no messages for her to get a hold of me and there were "supposedly" no complaints. That's impossible! After being nice to her and telling her my situation, she hung up on me. Considering there isn't anyone else to get a hold of because it's privately owned, I am rating this hotel to warm anyone and everyone not to stay there. There is a chance that your room won't be clean and you will not be able to get your money back. ”
