“The hotel is getting old and in need of updates. Our glass sliding door looked like someone had tried to break in before and there was a huge breeze coming through. Okay for early September when it warm but would have been a real problem in winter. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Our biggest complaint was that we asked for a non-smoking room with a crib for a son. The playpen they provide had been used in a smoking room before it made the whole room smell and his blankets were dirty I felt bad that he had to sleep in it.”

“Hotel is run down. Hotel does not qualify for any star rating. Non hotel guests at bottom level of hotel/bar were very loud and unruly in their behavior, parking lot was over crowed, inside/outside of hotel was old and worn out and generally dirty.”

“My fiancée and I spent the weekend at the themed rooms and were kind of disappointed when we arrived. I personally feel the prices should be lower, you are paying full price for a hotel room that you can't even use the extras at. To add to our disappointment, we stayed in the Caesar room and our radio didn't work in the headboard, the overhead lights didn't work either. One light fixture didn't even have a light bulb in it. When we got up the next morning we went to get the included "breakfast" and all it was were a few donuts sitting on a table in the lobby, a gallon of milk for you to pour you, and a pitcher of orange juice. The coffee was empty, so we went back to our room to make our own coffee. When I went to put the bag of coffee in coffee machine I was disgusted to find the coffee maker wasn't even cleaned from the last persons visit. Their used coffee filter & coffee grains were still in the top part of coffee maker. We switched rooms our second night and stayed in the roman villa. This was a lot nicer of a room so we thought we would enjoy ourselves more this night. We called down to get our champagne, glasses and boxers brought up. The girl at the desk said she would have to call us back in 10 minutes so she could verify that we didn't already get it I guess. Anyway, we waited an hour and still never received a call. My fiancée walked down to the office and got our champagne but the girl was unable to locate glasses at that time so again she said she would call back again. We waited again. My fiancée finally called down again, she asked again if you could call us back. He told her she never even bothered calling back the other times. She mentioned it was very busy that was why it was taking so long. We understand that but don't keep putting someone off. It doesn't take an hour and a half to contact someone. Well, they told us they would bring our glasses up in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes, the girl called back and informed us we don't get boxers with the package we purchased so we would only be receiving the glasses. We had the flyer/brochure in our room that said what was included with our package deal. And it specifically said champagne, glasses and boxers. We showed it to the gentleman that brought our glasses. He said he would honor it beings they had neglected to change the brochures in the room. All in all it just seemed like more of a hassle to stay here than it was to just simply relax.”

“The kids liked the theme (castle) of the hotel, and of course the pool. The fountain was cool. The free breakfast makes up for the lack of coffee maker in the room. This hotel needs to be updated.”
