  • Noise in the parking lot late at night. Loud people in room above me.

“Will not stay at this hotel again.”

  • It is convenient for some, I thought it would look better and be more comfortable than it was. The bed was not comfortable.
  • The air in the room didn't work that well. Was hot most of the night.

“I would like to see the beds be more comfortable and make sure the air works comfortably for the guess.”

  • Close to meeting location.
  • Room was
    dirty, smells.

“Building was clean outside, but room should have been cleaned better. (The room was just dirty). Non-smoking rooms had smoke odors.”

  • The bed was comfortable and clean.
  • Mildew smell in the hall, carpet pulled up, furniture damaged, kitchen, shower and vanity small.

“Pathetic, mildew smell, damaged cheap fixtures, worn and torn carpet, sunken in bed, tiny shower, tiny vanity; kitchen was a joke, 3 feet from the toilet. Someone kept a brick in the outside doors to keep them open at night so not safe. Just a nasty place with mostly nasty people hanging around. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.”

  • An
    ok location and price.
  • Under construction and wasn't told.

“Someone should have told us it was under construction and very messy - construction workers everywhere - TV was out had to have a new one put in and no locks from the inside of the room.”

  • The staff was friendly.
  • We weren't told it was being renovated.

“I've stayed in this hotel before, years ago. I suppose they're renovating because of age and recent hurricane damage, but the rooms were not up to par for what I would have stayed in. I actually didn't stay the second night, but stayed with friends in the area because of the condition of the room. I'm sure they will be back up to their prior levels of quality once the renovations are complete. We just won't stay there again until it's finished. The staff was, and is still very friendly.”

  • The location, that's it.
  • Clothes still in room, stains everywhere. No help at desk, clerk went to store and left.

“Places was horrible. Bags with clothes still in room, not clean, stains everywhere. Busted up kitchen. No help after hours like promise, clerk went to store and I had to wait outside my room for 1 1/2 hours. Horrible smell. Do not stay here!”

  • Honestly, nothing.
  • Were stalked by drunks in parking lot and the room was stained and dirty.

“I would not recommend it and would never ever stay there again. So bad, we did not even stay the second night.”

  • Nothing at all.
  • Stains on the sheets and walls. Uncomfortable bed. Just overall dingy place.

“This place is not a 2 star hotel. It's dingy. There wasn't even an alarm clock in the room. My kids were afraid to walk on the carpet.”

  • The room was a long walk from the lobby.

“Hotel was clean, the hotel workers were pleasant and helpful.”

  • The room was great for the price, very close to good restaurants, reasonably secure.
  • Wasn't able to obtain a handicapped room closer to the elevator, had to walk too far with a heart condition and arthritis.

“Crestwood Suites are a nice place for family, travelers, or workers who require modestly-priced nicely appointed suites for a short or extended stay. The suites are attractive, clean, and have everything you need except food. bring food. A large refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and 2-burner electric cook-top are included. We found the staff to be very friendly, courteous, and professional. The facility has electronically controlled doors and security cameras on all four sides of the building, and in hallways. There are also deadbolts and door jammers for extra security in each suite. Coin-op laundry machines are available and each suite has an iron and ironing board. Each bathroom has an electric hair-dryer, however, there was no clock radio in the room, so bring your own music. The TV is absolutely fabulous. Vending machines are located in the lobby near the elevator and in the coin-op laundry area on the 1st floor. A business traveler might prefer more opulence in facilities than the Crestwood Suites offer, however, fine restaurants and bars are very close by. Overall, the Crestwood Suites are an excellent place to have a pleasant stay. I highly recommend!”

  • My room had wet carpet, most of my stay, dirty and beat-up furniture, legs broken on bed, so I slept at an angle.

“This is a very scary hotel, the exterior locked door at my end of the hall was propped open with a brick (so people without keys could get in) Rooms supposed to be non-smoking, so people stood in the hall smoking. All furniture in room was trashed. When it rained water ran in on the floor and carpet. Staff put bath towels on wet floor and brought in a large drying fan. This happened twice during my stay. The staff knows this happens. Bathtub and Bathroom sink was stopped up. Dirty walls, with swipes of paint to cover past damage. Dirty and torn sofa. I bought a blanket and covered it before I would sit on it. Also, bought Clorox and cleaned the bathroom. Baseboards falling off. Not really possible to clean it up, because infrastructure is so poor. Why didn't I move? I was on a two week sales trip and had unloaded clothing and samples and catalogs. Left on appointments by 8:00 AM and returned by 8 in evening. Too tired to move all of my stuff to another room that probably would have been as bad. It is a "slum-lord" type property. As a woman traveling alone, I should not have been exposed to many of the types of guests staying there. There were a few other "regular" guests that I saw over the two week period. I am sure they were as disgusted as I was. I have traveled for 20 years and this was the worst and scariest hotel experience that I have ever.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Convenient location.
  • Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

“The room was damp and smelled horrible. The wall was so wet when I killed a roach the wall was pushed in. Staff was not concerned with cleanliness of the room.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[2] • Location:[7]

  • The location and nothing more.
  • Saggy beds, broken coffee pot, dead bugs in bathroom, horrific stench in hallway.

“I would never recommend this hotel to anybody for any reason. The double mattress/box spring sat on top of a queen frame, so the mattress literally sagged to the floor. We lifted the mattress to adjust the frame to a double and found the mattress to be horribly soiled and disgusting. And the bed was the least of our troubles! Very dirty and smelly.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[4]

  • Free wireless internet.
  • It was filthy and no one seemed to care.

“The carpets throughout the hotel had not been vacuumed in it looked like weeks. The microwave in my room was filthy with food coating the bottom of it. There was no iron in the room and when I asked for one was told I would have to wait until the maintenance man came the next day which was after I needed to leave for business meetings. When I showed the guy at the front desk the plate out of the microwave he didn't seem to care.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[1] • Location:[5]

  • Kitchenette.
  • Rude maid staff; construction workers using hotel as apartments (noise level); rooms were not available upon arrival; suspicious smells in hallway, etc.

“I stayed at the facility approximately a month ago and did not want to return because of certain conditions. Unfortunately, by mistake arrangements were made for me to stay again but I refused.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • Convenient to everywhere I needed to go.
  • Hard to find; temp residence for displaced individuals.

“First, the hotel is tucked away from the road, which made it hard to find but I thought would also make it a nicer, safer place to stay. The outside and grounds were nice, which also belied its interior. Though the interior was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, the residents were not temp visitors like myself; most of them appeared to use this location as their home or home away from home. There were several hook-ups in the hallways, as well as weeks worth of trash (in bags) outside the doors. There is only one elevator, and it is located in the middle of the building. So if you have a room at one of the ends, like I did, it is inconvenient for hauling luggage or anything else. Lastly, the stairwell door at the end of the building would not work, so parking there only made me walk twice as far to reach my room.”
