• The hotel receptionist had me bring my computer to her and she helped me get on the internet, as I am new to traveling with the net.

“I read a previous review on this hotel and a lady mentioned a restaurant named Genes and we decided to go there and the food was excellent and very reasonable. A must place to eat if you like homemade food, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. We would stay there again.”

• Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming.
• Mattress was awful, generally rundown (but clean).

“This is a nice enough hotel. It is showing its age in some areas (bathroom fixtures, mattress, carpet). The entry area to my room smelled like mothballs, no idea as to an explanation. The bathroom was clean, but definitely could use some new grout, tub resurfacing, and towel racks. The mattress was horrendous, but the pillows were fabulous (go figure). The breakfast options were very limited (cereal, bread/bagels, waffles, juice, coffee), the dining room floor was so sticky. However, for what I needed the room (to sleep along my travel route), it was fine for a night. If I was staying longer in Brinkley, I'd definitely look elsewhere.”

• Located near the interstate.
• No information in room as to hotel or local services.

“The breakfast bar was very poor with little selection, weak coffee, and no attendant. The room, although clean, was not up to the standard that I expect from this star rating, specifically, bed linen and comfort, information as to hotel and local services, and functionality of heater/air unit. I will probably avoid this hotel chain in the future.”

• All of the lights worked are the only thing that I could think of.
• The cleaner that they used will make you cough the whole time of your stay.

“First of all when I made my reservation, I called the hotel to make sure that I could get a room with 2 beds since I was staying there with a hunting buddy. They said no problem but when I arrived, they still tried to give me a King Bed. I said that I had called to tell them my needs but he did not have any record of the call. He told me that he would have to charge me more money to get the double. I told him that was not told to me when I called but he said that was the only way I was going to get the double bedroom. I think this hotel should be pulled out of your system because of this. Second of all, when we checked into our room, the fumes from the cleaners they used were so strong that it made our throat very raw and we could not stop coughing the first night. We opened the window and turned the heat up full blast, since it was in the 20's, to try to get the fumes out. We did not let them clean the room any of the 4 days we stayed. It got better every day for that reason. And finally, we were hoping to be able to use the pool and hot tub while we stayed but it was closed the entire time we were there.”

• Easy access.
• Needed minor paint touchups in bathroom.

“Excellent hotel for the price nothing fancy but clean. Excellent insulation my room was by the back entry door and butted up to the breakfast nook never heard a thing.”

• No elevator to 2nd floor.

“The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again. The breakfast room was nice enough but the breakfast was not very good, weak coffee, dry donuts, etc, they need to improve on that. The pool area looked nice.”
