• Comfortable beds.
• Too expensive & I forgot my pillow called but was told they don't have it. Very disappointed!

“It is a nice place but too expensive. Was told I would get a call back about my pillow after they talked to the person that cleaned the room no one called back. It is a tempurpedic pillow & cost $100.00. I would appreciate having it returned or at least a phone call.”

• Rooms were a little small, but neat & clean.

• Friendly staff in a hotel with good services, clean, nothing lacking for the avid traveler.
• View is not the best but then who goes to La Crosse for that!!!

“Our reservation was handled efficiently and despite an early departure we could still have the complimentary breakfast because it begun at 6 am! No complaints and reasonable value for money. No elevator to second floor for those needing it. Staff available to help with luggage!”

• The comforter was lumpy and needed to be replaced.

• This hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast.
• The view from our room was poor.

“This hotel was overall a great place to stay. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the friendliness of the staff. It was clean and comfortable, had a pool and a nice breakfast, but did not have a lot of frills.”

• Room was clean and comfortable for overnight stay.
• Our room was non-smoking, but the hallway smelled very smoky.

“For a place to sleep overnight, this was a very good motel. Clean rooms and common area. I thought the continental breakfast was good though modest in it's variety. For an extended stay I would like to see one comfortable chair in the room. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Microwave and refrigerator in room.
• The bed was a full size!

“The hotel was pleasant, as were the staff. The room was ok size, but the full size bed was a big disappointment. Breakfast was average. Hotel staff responded promptly when our key would not work in the lock due to a mechanical dysfunction.”

• Absolutely nothing. A filthy, nasty place.
• It was dirty, smelly. Think: black mold, stale beer.

“This is a dirty place. Do not stay at this motel.”

• Location, cleanliness, beds were excellent!
• Breakfast : I was taking coffee, tea, juices and muffins to room for both of us and worker said I had a lot of stuff there. Should I have to explain?.

• The air was on it was so humid that day I arrived. Thanks again.
• Needs a bigger coffee pot. I like coffee.

“The hotel staff was fantastic they remembered me from other stays and was right on helping me get right to my room. I will stay there all the time. I like the staff and there friendliness. Thanks Again.”

• The shower had good water pressure.
• The room was small, the wastebasket was only slightly larger than the ice bucket, and amenities were few.

“I thought this hotel was noisy and cheap looking for the price per night. We had a perfect view of the U-Haul parking lot. The hotel shares a parking lot with a busy restaurant. 'Our' entrance (to the hotel) shared parking spaces with the backdoor of the restaurant. We shared parking with the restaurant's dumpster. We were less than impressed with our stay.”

• Staff very helpful- pool great.
• Strong smell in stairwell-would be nice to have queen beds- No elevator.

“The Settle In was a nice place to stay and was convenient to main streets, restaurants, and our family. We would stay there again.”

• The pool and Jacuzzi.
• I had to stay in a smoking room and it smelled like smoke.

“I was handed the keys to my room and directed to a parking area. As I was getting things out of my car, the reception person came out and told me I was given the wrong keys. She handed me new keys and I had to move to the other side of the building. When I got to my room, there was only one bed. I was with my teen age boy and this was not what I requested. I went to the front desk and told them the problem. All they had was smoking. Not having much of a choice, I took it. They room smelled, but it was late and we were only staying one night. We went down to the pool and tried to stay out of the room as much as possible. It probably would have been a better experience if we had been smokers or if they would have had a non smoking room available. Also, I didn't appreciate the lost time being moved from room to room.”
