• The atrium is attractive. The location is good. The bed was comfortable. Coffee was always available.
• The hotel is worn and dated, and needs to be renovated to be a three star hotel.

“Going to this hotel is like going back in time to the "Holidome" days. Big atrium, lots of glass, lots of plants, swingin' pool next to the swingin' cocktail bar. Many of the rooms overlook the atrium, which really does look good, but is a little noisy when the bar is busy. My teenage daughters were disturbed by the proximity of the pool to the bar, particularly the walk to and from the pool in their swim wear. The room was dated, but nicer than the reviews led me to believe. They just need to be updated, new counter tops and shower heads in the bathroom, bigger TVs, pay per view, new decor. Also, the canopies in the atrium need to be replaced because they look dirty from above. And the rug in the hallway has about a foot of extra material just kind of bunched up in a ridge down the middle of it. The cots cost, and the breakfast is no longer free. Get there early, because they stop refilling well before the stated time. All in all, it was kind of pretty, and kind of fun, and the staff was very nice, but I am not sure I would stay there again.”

• Nice, clean hotel. Lovely atrium.
• Noisy (from hallways and doors slamming).

“Beds are reasonably comfortable. Rooms are clean. Good place for kids if you want a pool. Overall, a decent place to stay. I would stay again.”

• Convenient.
• The carpets in the corridors were severely stretched out, as if there had been a flood and not properly repaired.

“The hotel was barely occupied with other guests yet they would not accommodate our request for a 1st floor room - the carpets in the corridors/halls were so severely stretched it could have proved quite expensive if a guest tripped on them - otherwise the visit was quite enjoyable, the employees were very pleasant, and the room was very clean.”

• Old, not very clean. No hot water.

“Not worth the price I paid. Had to take a cold shower, bedspread had burn marks, atrium area was dirty. I should get a credit for having staying there.”

• It had a pretty atrium.
• The town of Quincy itself is run down, and this hotel is in the run down section of town.

“If you have to stay in Quincy this is a good choice.”

• The staff was friendly. The pool was well maintained. Although we did not dine there, it was available. I would stay here again.
• The hot tub was a little too warm. Otherwise it was great.

“I would definitely stay here again. I really liked the hotel; it was clean staff friendly and quiet.”

• Family friendly!
• The furnishings were a little outdated, but we didn't mind.

“I thought this was a great stay for the money. I was very pleased to be able to check in with my two small children without any problems or delays. I was also very pleased to be able to eat in the room, and have a pool accessible.”

• I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, we'll stay there again!

• Extremely pleasant staff.
• The hotel is aging and needs a definite facelift. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower.

“The breakfast and swimming pool make it nice for families. But the rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade.”

• The pool was good and the staff was very helpful.
• The rooms were not kept very well. The beds were very uncomfortable. There was a constant roar all night long that was accompanied by vibrations.

“I took my children and a few of her friends to spend the night. The pool was enjoyable, which was what we went for; the staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the rooms were very dirty with old, moldy dip cans under the bed, toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom and unkempt hallways. The beds were obviously very old. The springs could be felt thought the bed and there was a roar and vibration throughout the night.”

• The free breakfast buffet.
• The hotel was dirty and beds were uncomfortable.

“I did not like the hotel at all. It was dirty. The room and hallway carpet needed to be shampooed. The walls were dirty. The mattress was terrible. My husband and I could not wait until our stay was over. The non-smoking hallways smelled like smoke and mildew. We usually love hotel stays, but this was among our worst.”

• Hot breakfast, pool, hot tub.
• Decor seemed a little old.

“My husband and I stayed two nights with our daughters who are 5 and 2 years old. We had everything we needed. Very kid friendly. The kids loved the pool. We liked getting a hot breakfast instead of just the continental that other hotels offer.”

“Well we only ended up staying 1 night and switched to a different hotel. Because the pool was very, very cold, the hot tub was also cold; the remote for the TV didn't work. It was very run down. I would like a refund!”

• Not a bad restaurant, although room service was poor.
• Room was "shabby" and furniture was old and stained.

“This hotel was "shabby." the rooms were sparsely furnished, the bed was low, the chair and ottoman were dirty and stained and I could not access the internet via dial up. The lobby smelled of pool chemicals.”

• The Holidome facilities were well-maintained.
• The rooms, hallways, elevators were filthy. Sofa in room was very soiled.

“Because I had stayed at this hotel as a young adult and enjoyed myself, I was excited to take my children there. I was very disappointed. The Holidome itself was fairly well-maintained but the rooms were horrendous. The carpet and sofa were very soiled and worn. The hallways were not clean as well. I would not recommend this hotel and I would have taken the kids somewhere else had I been able to find a place. Extremely disappointing!”

• Good value for short stay.
• Facilities somewhat in disrepair; sauna broken, whirlpool almost out of service.
