“Our smoke detector started chirping around 11:30 PM and the front desk staff did not have the means to change the battery and they had us change rooms to sleep, which meant that we had to wake up our 3 kids to move rooms. And then in the morning they were not in any hurry to get the battery changed. It was not before 10:00 AM.”

• Breakfast wasn't quite what our kids had in mind.

“One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The front desk staff was always very cheerful and welcoming. The breakfast was upscale and delicious, but a serve-yourself format is a little more suited for guests with children. No complaints. would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Large room on river walk.
• Catered party in main lobby.

“Was in town for a wedding at one of the local plantations. Most of the family stayed at the plantation, but the cost there was too much for our family. We got twice the size room for less than half the price right on the river. A nice new river walk was great for our kids to release some energy. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Only bad thing was that there was a catered reception one evening in the main lobby/entryway to the hotel. We couldn't get to our room without passing through it and we felt like we were intruding.”
