• Location, the library area, the fireplace in the common area.
• They allowed the public to swim in the pool and they were definitely annoying to the actual customers staying at the hotel.

“This is a potentially very classy and very charming hotel. However, the staff is not in tune with the patrons who stay at the hotel. The pool would have been nice to swim in, but I never had the opportunity as the pool was occupied by an enormous amount of public guests that paid a nominal fee for going to the pool alone. The children who attended the pool also used the sauna room and irritated the guest by speaking to the guests through the ventilator between th exercise room and the sauna. The breakfast was not heart healthy.”

• View, location, staff, everything!

“We have stayed here a few times and have always had a good experience. Ask for a room with a lake view and balcony. The rooms are big and clean. The staff is very nice. This is a good place for families and I think alot of retirees come here as well. We won't go anywhere else in Hayward. Everything is modern and up to date unlike some of the privately owned hotels/motels in the area. It is in a very good location. ”
