• The pool room is very small, not a place for a pool party by any means.

“I found out from staff that the pool breaks down frequently. The pool room is in need of immediate attention to upkeep.”

• The lobby was very attractive; liked the TV channel selections; restaurant was better than expected.
• Rooms are very worn and need upgrading.

“If you're staying in downtown Eau Claire the location is good and the price is fair for the quality of the hotel. The staff is professional and helpful. The rooms are kind of worn and could stand to be upgraded.”

• The location was very convenient. When there was a problem, they did their best to make it right
• The first night I slept in a room that had not been serviced by housekeeping.

“In all for the price I paid --the room was definitely below standard for a 2 star room. I understand that they are in the process of remodeling but the first night the room had hair and trash in it. I was given a complimentary nights stay and that definitely did help to improve my opinion of this hotel.”

• The location was very easy to find, right in the heart of downtown Eau Claire,Wi.
• The temperature in the halls was kind of warm, but the a/c worked great.

“We got in went to the desk to check in, the greeter was very warm and friendly. We got our keys, and parking pass, and breakfast passes. Everything went well.”

• Free parking at a downtown hotel.
• The bathtub drain was almost plugged. The stopper was out of the hole and crud floated up from the drain, disgusting.

• The rooms are big, clean, and warm.
• The rooms could use some updating/fixing up.

“We were very pleased with our stay and we would stay there again. Wish the bathrooms had more attention given to them. There was a permanent stain in the tub and the wallpaper needs some attention. The pool area/workout room was cold.”

• The fire alarms going off twice in the night.

“A little off the highway, but very convenient if you have business in downtown. Older building but parking garage attached to building and beautiful restaurant on first floor. Small (but nice) hot breakfast. Room was large with great massaging shower.”

• Good coffee in restaurant.
• Parking ramp was not safe. No hot tub and pool was dirty.

“Hotel is located downtown. We were in town to do shopping. Location was bad! Have to park in Parking Ramp that is open to public. Did not feel safe going into building or out through the parking ramp. Pool are was cold. No towels. Hotel front staff was very friendly.”

• It was quiet, will lit parking.
• Very stuffy, pool room awful, needs better cleaning.

“would stay again for price, but needs better cleaning, Only person I saw working was check in girl. Swimming area and exercise room needed cleaning. Table and chairs in pool. No supervision, incase small children went there alone. Need better air control as everyplace in hotel was very stuffy. Hard to breath until air conditioner was turned on.”
