• It was very clean and pleasant. I enjoyed the location as well as it was close to eating and shopping. It was an excellent price.
• It did not reflect 3.5 stars because the bathtub wasn't nice and the mirror was all broken. water pressure wasn't very good.

“This hotel has a nice business room with computers and internet. The pool was nice. The lobby was pleasant and open which is nice for kids to walk around.”

• Air conditioning did not work, room was extremely Hot Air conditioning did not work, room was extremely Hot.

“The overall appearance of the Hotel was good. However the Air conditioning did not work and the room was very warm. We had to sleep with the window open than we had road noise. Bathrooms and TV's could use updating.”

• Clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, would recommend for cedar rapids travelers.
• A little bit dated, but well maintained for an older hotel.

“Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent staff. While the hotel is well maintained, the decor is a bit dated and could use a redo. Nonetheless, it very well may be the best hotel option in Cedar Rapids.”

• It was very clean and decorated beautifully.
• The mattress was hard and was only about six inches thick we both woke up with back aches.

“I would stay at this hotel again only if I could check out the mattress. Other than the uncomfortable mattress the hotel get a 9.0 rating from me.”

• Nice staff /convenient location.
• Pool shower needed repair. One of the 2 beds did not look clean.

“It was a great stay. I had a room with 2 beds. The one I was going to sleep in initially has super wrinkled sheets. It looked like it was used and the bedding was not changed. Other bed was fine.”

• The soaps and shampoos were great quality, comfortable bed too.
• The openness of the building - voices echo loud from the restaurant up thru the center of the building.

• Tile around pool is very slippery. Saw several people fall.

“The tile around the pool is very inappropriate for a wet area. I witnessed 4 people who fell. I am surprised they haven't had legal problems.”

• The beds are amazing. Lovely atrium lobby space.
• Can take a while to get back and forth from room, depending on room location. Would love a mini fridge/microwave.

• Drinking water bottle was a bit expensive.

“The hotel was very welcoming. The atrium with the waterfall wall can be very relaxing - especially with piano music in the background. I really enjoyed our stay.”

“The hotel lives up to its name. If given a choice between this hotel and other of its star quality, I will stay at the other. I hate to pay for internet and as a business traveler I need to have it available other than in the lobby.”
