• The rate wasn't too bad.
• Did not want to get a smoking room, and there was not refrigerator although I reserved one.

“Nice hotel overall, but I was not happy with the room that I got. I don't recall asking for a smoking room, because I don't smoke, and the reservation said that I would have a refrigerator in the room but there was none. The hotel staff never told me at check-in that there was not refrigerator or that this was a smoking room.”

• Recommendation of staff to eat somewhere else.
• Smoke smell was horrendous, should of slept in a smoky bar!

“Room was dirty and the entire 4th floor smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpet was filthy.”

• Clean and quite.

“Very nice place, clean and the staff was great. Had to wait for room to be done but went to the sports bar and they gave us free drinks till our room was done. Excellent.”

• The person that checked us in was friendly.
• The rooms were awful and beds uncomfortable.

“Do not stay here. Uncomfortable beds, outdated rooms, dirty rooms.”

• The sports bar has a great open steak sandwich and allows smoking.
• The hotel customer contact staff needed a swift kick in the back side.

“This property has slipped badly since the founder. With the exception of one new "recruit" up front and a very classy lady who was the AM breakfast hostess, the front desk staff had a sullen, "we-could-care-less" attitude as if they did not realize that my repeat stay there after two years away, and the money it generated, paid their salaries and gave them jobs. Don't plan to ask for anything from them and for sure don't ask directions to the nearest Wal mart.”

• Clean with an attentive staff.
• That we had to leave their pool behind and go home!

“We booked this hotel through aura and got a great rate. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the maid was extremely friendly. We thought they had a great Sunday brunch and the employees were definitely attentive. The pool was open 24 hours, which we enjoyed since we were there for over the weekend for a wedding party.”

• Heater broke down, bulbs burned out, hair dryer broken.

“It was probably a great place for a business traveler who enjoyed the meeting rooms. I was disappointed with overall experience.”
