• Very small rooms.

• The staff was very upbeat and kept the lobby extremely clean and warm looking.
• There was no desk in the tiny room, only a tiny table, not many outlets.

“I think that the overall atmosphere of the room was great. It looked like it fit perfectly in Winona, MN. The staff was excellent and perky, even the night staff was happy to see us at 11:30 pm. The walls were paper thin and the comforter was scratchy, but that wasn't horrible for 1 night.”

• I had a place to sleep.
• Dirty, small rooms, AC did not work, smells.

• The continental breakfast and coffee was kept full by the staff!
• No elevator. I don't remember the hotel description mentioning this fact. Otherwise I could have requested the bottom floor.

“A basic motel type facility. Clean and well staffed, with plenty of parking. All amenities that were needed for my stay were close by.”

• The rooms were very clean! The beds were comfortable and it had a great location.
• The railing at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor! I'm sure it did not meet OSHA regulations! Very easy for a toddler to fall through; dangerous.

“I think that if someone really appreciates a clean, comfortable hotel room, then this is the place for you! It was the first time in years that I actually walked barefoot in the room! The beds were very comfortable and I would highly recommend this hotel. The only downfall was that the railing at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor was very dangerous for toddlers. It has horizontal bars that have about 10-12" of space in between. I can't believe that they have not been cited on this! We had a toddler with us and he could have easily fallen through to the floor below. I intend on writing them to let them know that they should fix this before someone gets seriously hurt.”

• Front desk very friendly.
• The room was very small.

“First of all, I want to say that we requested a 2 star hotel, and I believe we paid for a 2 star hotel, but this was a 1 star by your own admittance. The hotel was okay, but should have cost less as it was out of the way and had no frills whatsoever.”

• Hotel staff was rude and unaccommodating. Will not go back ever again.

“Hotel clerks were rude and I will never go back. Every time we got back to the hotel, we had to explain that although we are young people, we were staying at the hotel and that my credit card was on file.”

• It was near the highway.
• Smelly, small, loud, no decorations, boring.

“This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. The price was high, and the quality was low. If you need a place to sleep, your car might be a better option for you. There was a smell in the lobby, the AC barely worked and was incredibly loud, the windows overlooked the roof of the lobby, the room was incredibly small, the decorations were non-existent, the walls were plain white, and you could hear everything outside your room either outside in the parking lot or the rooms next door. This hotel was certainly not worth the money we paid for it.”
