• Small pool and exercise room.

• Great air conditioning, fairly good wireless access, good housekeeping.
• No elevator, hallway air conditioner did not work, and it was hot!

“The front desk was very helpful, although they seemed a little confused about what to do; they didn't know how I would make phone calls from the room and so on. But that wasn't too onerous. Probably the biggest problem was that I was promised a non-smoking room and received a smoking room that smelled like one, but I was traveling with my sister, who is a smoker, and she was happy indeed with the outcome.”

• The staff was not very hospitable.

“I would not stay at the Amerihost Inn in Mexico, MO again. The staff was not hospitable at all. I had asked for a smoking room and they could not comply. I was supposed to have a room with TWO double beds, and instead they gave me a handicapped room with ONE full sized bed. I had asked for a cot to make up for the lack of beds and they informed me that it would be an additional $10.00 for the cot. I never got my cot, because they gave it to another room. I had called down to the front desk to tell them that I would not be in my room and to drop off the cot while I was away, but they discarded my request and I slept uncomfortably with my sister squeezed together on a full fixed mattress.”

• Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodated our request for a late check-out
• Not enough towels and soap

“Hotel was sufficient for one overnight stay to visit relatives. Nothing special but adequate.”

• Indoor pool, free breakfast, refrigerator in room, good location, exercise room.
• Handicapped room with one bed, tiny breakfast area with minimal offerings.

“Overall clean hotel with nice, small indoor pool and small exercise room in ideal location for road travel, short drive from Columbia and University of Missouri.”

• parking lot is terrible

“Rooms were adequate. bottle cap from previous guest under corner of bed, parking lot had huge holes in it. staff was friendly, stairs coming in were dirty. location kind of out of the way. for the price I gave, it was ok”
