  • Location to interstate.
  • Room wasn't ready had a steam cleaner in middle of floor.

“I tried to rent a movie and had to pay a $20.00 deposit for a $12.99 movie. Front desk was a bit short with me. Front desk clerk in the AM was very polite during checkout. I asked for a receipt that I paid for my filing and was told I couldn't get one.”

  • Proximity to interstate and university.
  • Bathroom light did not work and ants on the door when we left.

“I was not overly impressed with the hotel for the availability of the room, location of the hotel and the price. Also, I am not sure if the area is the safest as there seemed to be quite a bit of police activity near the hotel.”

  • That I had to ask for tissue and not enough towels for a family of four. I had to ask for more.

  • The breakfast had ready-to-make waffles and freshly boiled eggs! Nice!
  • In-room movie rentals were not working during my stay.

“This hotel was neat and clean. The room furnishings were dated (90's looking) but well kept up. Bathroom had stained tiles in the ceiling, but was otherwise great. Shower had great pressure, and no end of hot water. In room movie rentals were broken at the time, but the room did have a Nintendo N64 controller to play games if such is your hobby. Overall impressed with the hotel. Very nice for my business needs.”

“Although the hotel was ok. The surrounding area was less than appealing. I feel and was also told by locals that the area was not safe.”

  • It was cheap.
  • Broken air conditioner, broken toilet, broken drapes.

“Normal La Quinta Inn, but the room was in strange not repaired. The air conditioner wasn't working right. Making it very difficult to sleep. The drapes were broken off their track and the toilet wouldn't flush unless you opened it up reach inside and lifted the stopper up with your hand.”

  • Very fresh sheets and linens and the room was very clean.
  • It could upgrade the outside near the pool are, but not bad overall.

“The room I stayed in was quite comfortable and clean. It appeared the hotel is doing some upgrades and it is very good for the price. Not overpriced or under, just about right. The bed was very good and I was comfortable.”

  • Extremely noisy. Raw neighborhood. One way street, hard to go diff direction.

“The walls were thin...motel was in an area that seemed to be declining...didn't feel safe. Not easy to access highway. Cars pulled up to the motel outside the window/door several times during night. Just not what I expected from La Quinta.”

“I did not feel safe at this hotel due to the neighborhood it was in. The balconies and other walkway areas were filthy. The beds were too small and mattresses needed to be replaced. Room was too small. Felt very cramped. The breakfast area was small and did not have ample seating for guests and was not kept clean.”

“This motel was one of the most unclean places I have stayed in. This place was not clean. Damp and musty feel in the room (no fan in the bathroom). I would rather pay more money for a clean room. I paid $5 more a night at the Ameri-suites in Arlington, TX and what a difference.”

  • It was average.
  • No refrigerator, microwave or remote for TV.

“Front desk clerks (evening shift) were not very knowledgeable about the area. Did not provide solutions for lack of remote for TV or on second day lack of fresh towels. Also, I paid more than the regular rate for this hotel. That's not a good thing.”

  • The bed was very worn out; the TV channel selection was terrible.

“Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly. The rooms could have used some improvements. The beds were terrible and the TV selection was not good at all just basic local channels. They were very helpful in getting me a room where I asked I wanted close to the front and the got that for me.”

  • Amenities missing; got locked in room; deadbolt malfunctioned.

“This hotel has seen better days. The desk was broken; soap and other essentials were missing. The deadbolt malfunctioned and I was locked in my room for several hours. It is in a bad part of town, and there are no good restaurants nearby. I would recommend changing the star rating to one and a half stars. The staff was very helpful, however and I received a free night certificate due to the ordeal.”
