• We loved the location - close to everything.
• The clerk at desk when we checked in - not friendly.

“We've stayed at all the hotels on Canal Park and this was our favorite and we will stay there again. Location is perfect. The beautiful decks on the front were so nice.”

• The price was wonderful for the accommodations. It is a beautiful hotel!
• Maybe make the computer easier to access, not under lock and key?.

• Convenient, cozy, good breakfast buffet.
• Way too much chlorine in pool, the entire pool area smelled so heavily of chlorine that I could not stay in it or swim at all.

“Pleasant, friendly, I would stay again. My room did have an odor that smelled slightly of old cigarettes.”

• One light bulb was burned out.

• Easy parking.
• Bed was too close to the wall.

• Location, location, location.
• Too much furniture crammed into the room. It was difficult to maneuver in without bumping into things.

“Excellent location for an overnight stay. Many restaurant choices within walking distance. On the lake and near the aerial lift bridge made for some excellent views.”

• Great location, friendly staff and nice pool.
• Pull out bed was uncomfortable.

“Another very pleasant experience! Very nice, safe location next to several good restaurants! The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was above average. I would recommend this hotel and my kids loved the pool!”

• Nice "continental" breakfast self made waffles and bacon amidst the usual fair.
• We got a "handicapped" room, which meant no bathtub.

• Warm pool.
• No sauna.

“Both my adult son and I enjoyed our stay at the comfort suites. In particular, we loved its location along the shore of lake superior. The facility was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the continental breakfast was substantial, and the pool, while not Olympic size, was large and the water was warm and not overly chlorinated.”

• Located on the shores of lake superior and in the heart of unique shopping district.
• There is nothing I did not like about this hotel.

“From the moment we walked in the door to this hotel we were impressed. Friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms, and a continental breakfast that didn't have one stale donut! Eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, cereal, and bagels. It was very much appreciated. The best thing about this hotel is its location; on the shores of beautiful lake superior and steps from the boardwalk that line the lake. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.”
