• The location and the breakfast. they also had a daily happy hour from 5-7 pm with free snacks and beer and pop.
• There was a very large pillar in the middle of the room.

“One day the pool was closed until noon and the next day the hot tub was closed until noon. But overall, it is an old but very nice hotel.”

• Size of rooms, amenities, cleanliness, lights.
• Slow response from room assistance (light bulb & coffee pot).

“Well situated in an active area, but quiet. Good breakfast selection. Interior rooms afford a darkness that aids sleeping. Rooms are generous in size and have all the necessary amenities needed for an extended stay.”

• Nice breakfast and happy hour.
• Hotel hallways smelled like cat urine and cat poop--disgusting.

“Terrific location to the canal park activities, close to lake. Happy hour especially on Wednesdays and every day breakfast quite fulfilling. Soundproofing would improve sound of kids running and screaming in the hallways. Due to the fact that hallways smelled strongly of a smell similar to cat urine and sometimes cat poop, I could never enthusiastically recommend this hotel to anyone unless that was fixed.”

“The rooms were spacious and adequately furnished. The refrigerator and microwave was a nice plus. The location was excellent and the room was a good value. The biggest drawback was the lack of windows. Our room, in fact, most of the hotel rooms have no exterior windows. Another drawback was that we asked for a crib and were given a pack and play that should have been retired multiple users ago. Also, the hotel staff was unable to locate a suitcase stand. Overall, if you do not need the kitchenette, I would recommend another hotel.”
