• The staff was friendly and the pool was open till 12 on Saturday and we were able to check in early at noon.
• There was mold in the shower and the area was close to Duluth but in a run-down neighborhood.

“The hotel stay went pretty well. They allowed us to check in early which was at noon and the staff provided us with a map and showed us some places we might like to go and how to get to them. The pool was nice and we were able to enjoy it because it was open till 12 on sat. the only problem
I had was that the shower had mold on it which grossed me out otherwise a nice stay.”

• Convenient location.
• Outwardly the building was not very attractive.

“I was expecting a little more for the price. But the room was very clean and had plenty of linens. The bathroom door did not close easily and when we checked out I told the front desk and he acted like he already knew it and he was not going any further with the information.”

• The in-room coffee was delicious.
• Halls weren't as bright as one would expect.

“The hotel was clean, but could have been brighter in the hallways. I got there late, and there was no food in the bar, and the kitchen in the restaurant next door was closed. I hear it's good. The pool is really nice. I've had their cocktail hour from 5-7 before, excellent!”

• Old, but clean impossible to really update.

• I was very impressed with the breakfast that they offer. Much nicer then other places that I have stayed at.
• The pool felt cold.

• Front desk attendant was very friendly.
• Room smelled a bit musty. The walls were thin so we heard all the noise from people coming in late at night.

“The room smelled a bit musty, but it was clean. We could hear all the noise from people coming in late at night. We were only there for about 9 hours so the hotel served the purpose of providing a clean bed, but I wouldn't stay there for a weekend vacation.”

• Location, comfort, breakfast included, pool, staff helpful.
• Jets in the hot tub were wildly shooting upward. Water in my eyes.

“Overall, a great stop for me and my two older children. Easy to find and everything was as it should be in the hotel. Our room was comfortable; the staffs were helpful and efficient. The candy on the counter was retro candy. I had slight discomfort about the neighborhood safety. Several bars made me question what kind of activities was prevalent in the immediate area. We had no problems though. I would stay there again.”

• The quietness of the hotel.
• Only one luggage cart and housekeeping was using it for garbage cart when we checked in. had to carry luggage.

• I had difficulty connecting to the internet and the manager personally helped me.
• There were no elevators; I have back problems and had to pull my bags myself.

“Very nice friendly people. They gladly changed my room from a second floor room to first floor pool side without increase cost because I have a back handicap. They offer a nightly mixer with two free drink tickets per room. Very nice hotel.”

• The worker is so friendly and fun to talk to.
• There are none.

“We have stayed there before and the people that work there are all so friendly and fun to be around. I can say that for sure that all staff housekeeping and desk clerks are all really cool people.”

• Very nice and cozy as far as design.
• Our room had NO air circulation vents/blowers. Specially being a smoking room.

• Love the no smoking rule.
• Had a defective TV set, got a discount on the room, but would have preferred the TV to function, or to receive another working one.

“We have been there three times, and have had dogs all three times, since the no smoking rule for the second and third visits, I thought it was a great place, but before that- the smoke was terrible all throughout the building, but its a great place for the money now, if you have pets. Great staff, and I have nothing bad to say about the place at all. ”

• The pool area was nice and the continental breakfast was great for my grandson when we got up in the morning.
• I thought the price was a little high compared to what I have previously got.
