• decent continental breakfast.
• room was extremely small.

• Very clean, newly decorated and fridge was nice to have in room.
• There was a strange odor in the room and halls, but we could open the window and air out the room.

“Convenient location, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was bagels, toast, and cereal. There was a strange odor in the building, but thankfully our window could be opened to air out the room.

• Clean, friendly staff, ok location. Kind of far from downtown activities.
• Room was not ready check-in time of 3 PM.

“Overall. It met my expectations for this level of a motel. It was a bit pricey though. Even the second night we chose to stay being so far from Duluth activities.”

• Clean lobby.
• Location, cleanliness of room, security lock broken.

“The room was adequate as far as size. Claimed newly remodeled but it did not look like it. One outside door was broken so the latch was duct taped open 24/7 and anyone could have walked in. Housekeeping did a horrible job of cleaning and even left coffee pot with coffee still in it. View was of weeds and a few low income houses. Would probably not stay there again.”

• Smell of smoke in the hallways from the smoking rooms.

“The remodel job they did really improved the inside of the hotel, looks great, and they do a great job of keeping the hotel clean.”

• It was a little ways away from downtown.

• Clean and friendly staff.
• Very small rooms.

“This hotel would be better for a business traveler. The room was tiny and the continental breakfast was not very great. The price seemed to be too high. I don't think I would stay here again as I am a leisure traveler and would like a larger room. There was hardly any space for my suitcases. The bathroom was also tiny.”

• It met our needs, price was reasonable.
• Extremely cold morning and the windows had iced over so you couldn¿t look out. Did not have Pepsi pop machine.

“They had not shoveled the sidewalk in the morning. Overall it was a nice clean place to stay. We will book a room their again.”

• First room the heat did not work so we had to repack and move.

• Close to attractions.
• The hotel room was very small.

“The room was very small and there was only one available outlet which was behind the TV hutch. I needed to plug in my computer and cell phone for school purposes and had to alternate plugging them in. When I went to use the shower the water was brown at first. Once it was running it would not hold a steady temperature. It would turn cold then hot and continued to do that.”

• It was the nicest Days Inn I have EVER stayed at! Great Staff, too.
• The exterior needs some work - siding shabby. The parking lot is a bit rough.

“I really enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn, Duluth. It was impeccably clean, nice amenities, friendly and helpful staff with great attention to detail. I was very impressed for the money. It was one of the cheaper hotels in Duluth, still quite pricey, but cheap for the area.”

• There wasn't anything within walking distance (place to eat etc.)

• We liked the morning breakfast.
• We were in room 134, it was very small and it smelled wet. I believe the carpet actually was wet in spots.

“I'm afraid I was not very happy w/my stay. The room was very cramped and there was hardly room for 2 adults to move around. The room smelled wet and the carpet was actually wet in spots. The bathroom was very clean and housekeeping did a nice job each day touching it up; we appreciated that.”
