  • Location to Capital and access to highway good, easy to get around area from hotel.
  • Check in, given wrong room by front desk, correct room carpets were wet, service in restaurant non existent, bar service ok.

“For price, hotel was acceptable, overall clean. Service needs attention in all areas, especially restaurant. Customer service not their priority. Stay at other JQ's establishments, are held at a higher standard than this one. Would not stay again, will give another a try.”

  • The food in the restaurant was excellent.
  • The temperature in the room never cooler down in the 4 days we were there.

“Nice hotel, a little old but nice. Not (in my opinion) a 3 star, but might be for the location. Parking was tough seeing its a hotel allot of meetings and conventions are held in.”

  • Public areas are very attractive.
  • The shower did not work and hotel personnel did nothing to remedy situation.

“Overall room was fresh and clean. However when my family went to take a shower after having swam in the pool we came to find out that the shower only came out in very small stream. We complained to management who sent someone to fix it he was unsuccessful and thats where it was left.”

  • Easy to find.
  • Given a smoking room.

“Arrived late, staff was not willing to put us in a non smoking room, the staff was telling us if we paid more we could have another room, it was midnight and he said that more people were coming that had yet to make a reservation.”

  • Great location and nice pool.
  • Overpriced amenities, poor service.

“I was very disappointed with the way my reservations were handled. First, I had to call three different times to have my reservation resent before the hotel finally had record of our reservation. Then, I was charged for the room twice. I am still waiting for a refund of the second charge. The hotel staffs were not the least bit interested in helping solve either of these problems. The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were good sized, the beds were comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The pool and gym facilities were very clean. Most of the dining area was closed off for a convention, but they did offer room service. It was centrally located to downtown which was a bonus, but this is definitely a hotel for business travelers, not for families. I felt their extras were way overpriced. They charge $9.99 per day to use their high speed internet, which should be free. The bottled water in the room is a whopping $3.50! The hotel was nice, but not worth the trouble.”

  • Clean, convenient, friendly room service.
  • They didn't ask me if I preferred smoking or not. I got a smoking room. Yuck!

“I arrived late at night. I always assumed you got a non-smoking room unless you specified otherwise. I was so tired, I didn't realize what the smell was until the next day, and I wasn't going to ask to change rooms then. Smoking rooms smell really nasty, and hotels should always give you non-smoking unless you tell them you want smoking!”

  • Nice hotel. Great location.
  • We had a suite, but had to ask for extra towels, cups, glasses, pillows, etc. Also young kids in pool weren't supervised, even after complaints made.

“This motel is nicely decorated and has a decent atmosphere. The reason we stayed at this motel was for the atmosphere and indoor pool.”

  • Front Desk People were very nice. Close to Capital.
  • Rooms a little stuffy at first, one "mystery" light switch.

“The hotel is a very convenient walk to the Capital and Court house. The front desk staff were very nice. The rooms were a little stuffy/stale at first, but the A/C turned it around quickly. ”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Convient location. Room and facilities well maintained.
  • Long waiting times for elevators.

“Pleasant layout and clean room with suite. Lobby attractive and functional. Buffet breakfast medium sized selection and good quality food. Elevators were small, ran slow, and sometimes I had to wait 15 minutes to go up to my floor at busier times. This was probably made worse by the fact that there was a youth basketball tournament in town and the kids were using the elevators heavily.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Location was key to staying at this Hotel.
  • Others attending the same Conference were charged $20.00 less per night. I was given a smoking room, so that I did not have to change during my stay.

“Key location for Jefferson City business and Conferences.”

  • The staff was friendly and the food was excellent.
  • Although it stated that it was recently remodeled, I could find no evidence of that. Beds were uncomfortable and whole room was out of date.

  • Good location.
  • Hot tub was not very hot. Black tie event clogged lobby upon arrival.

“This was a pretty decent hotel, but there were a few things that surprised me for a hotel of this level. The hot tub was never really hot (I tried it three different times). The soap was that flaky cheap hotel soap. The night we were there was kid night in the pool! It was hard to enjoy with 15 kids splashing and screaming. But, it is in a good location and was a nice place overall.”

  • Nice sized room.
  • No extras were included.

“Very nice room. Nice atrium area. They included no extras what-so-ever. Internet access, which is often free now, was extra. There were even two bottles of water put in the room for "your convinience" but if they are used you are charged $3.50 each.”
