• Close to a shopping mall.
• Needs TLC badly.

• Front desk clerk very accomodating
• Very upset when we got their the hot tub was not in operation and this is one reason we booked this hotel

“First room smelled of smoke, front desk very accomadating when asked for another room. Upset that the hot tub was not in working order. There is not enough parking for guests”

• The color scheme in the room was awful (lime green and reds w/ all kinds of patterns).

• The staff has been great! I have stayed there 4 weekends in the last 2 months. Continental breakfast, microwaves and refridge. Smoke Free!
• Parking congested.

“Of all the motels in the Waterloo area, Fairfield is great, convenience, kids, family. Bonus smoke free!”

• Clean rooms, close to lots of shopping/dining.
• No stairs in middle of hotel to access lower/higher levels.

“We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this property. It may not look great from the outside, but the rooms were very clean, well decorated and with plenty of space. Good continental breakfast offered in the morning, and its right next to the Crossroads Mall, so plenty of shopping and dining very nearby. Would stay again!”

• Very nice, clean hotel, I would stay again.
• Breakfast breads were hard and stale.

“Very nice decent, safe place. It had nice beds and upscale bedding. Breakfast selection was plentiful but some items were not replaced as needed so they were stale.”

• The room was very clean, neat, and felt luxurious because of the carpet and bed linens. The continental breakfast was the absolute best ever!
• Even though there is a no smoking policy, someone on the 2nd floor was smoking both days that we were there.

“It is very nice, clean, and feels very luxurious for the price. The continental breakfast has everything! From real waffles that you make and eat hot to hard boiled eggs. The room feels very clean and posh.”

• Nice bed.
• Room service interrupted our stay. Stating we were to check out on Friday am and we were to check out on Sunday.

“This was a smoke-free hotel. Did not know that until we got there. The house keeping department interrupted me when I had a do not disturb sign out. She said we were to be departing that day which was Friday, but we were scheduled to be there until Sunday. I thought that the front desk cleared that up for us but when we returned to the hotel Friday night, our key was inactive and we had to go back to front desk to get new key. There was lot of noise that you could hear from next door as well as housekeeping was extremely loud in the morning cleaning hall ways as well as other rooms. I would never stay at this hotel again. Great service!”

• Staff was so friendly and accommodating; complimentary breakfast was very good each morning.
• The only thing that I didn't care for was the location. Not a horrible location but not great, either.

“Fairfield Inn is perfect for families who want to get a very comfortable hotel room without breaking the bank. The room decor is pretty, the common areas are so comfortable and welcoming, and the staff was wonderful! I would definitely stay there again!”
