• Hot breakfast buffet with our room!
• Bathrooms are a little dated.

“Great stay for the money we paid. The people are really friendly. Complementary hot breakfast buffet. The hotel seems a little dated, but the price was fine.”

• Security locks broken.

“Terrible hotel. Door security locks broken, room lock to outside broken. Bathrooms need reconditioning. TV really small, unhooked upon arrival, had to fix myself. Would not stay again.”

• The breakfast server was very helpful.
• The room rug was filthy, bed sheets very dingy.

“Not marked well in the dark, entrance hard to find. Room rug very stained, hair on sheets, sheets dingy. I asked for a room freshening and did not receive an air freshener. Room door would not open at 1pm at night. Had to get someone to open room, had to sleep in hall until they got there. Took them 20 minutes to let using. Would not stay there ever again. Location was the only factor going for it.”

• Convenient location. Staff friendly. The included breakfast was nice with a good selection.
• Exterior in great disrepair, although they appeared to be working on it. Unpleasant air freshener odor in the room trying to cover up smoke smell.

“This hotel was large with a lot of amenities, however things were in disrepair. There was visible rust throughout the outside areas. The pool area was drained and very unattractive. The bathroom tub was caulked and full of permanent dirt in the caulking. Our non-smoking room smelled of over perfumed room freshener trying to cover up smoke. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very pleasant. The desk staff were very nice and accommodating also as well as competent housekeeping staff. With some updating, this hotel would be a great bargain.”

• The location.
• The musty smell, the moldy furniture, the broken bed and the indifferent staff.

“This was the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in. The room smelled musty when we got there, but I figured turning the A/C on would help. It didn't. The room was so humid that by morning the clothes I had hanging up was damp. There was mold growing on one of the chairs in the room. One of the double beds in the room was broken. There was mold on the shower curtain. When I noted all this to the staff on checking out, they filled out a repair notice on the bed, but no apology or anything. I will NEVER stay there again.”

• Stinky, musty, moldy, sorry excuse for a hotel.

“The room smelled musty when we arrived. We should have requested a different room but it was late and we thought it would improve with the A/C on. There was mold on one of the chairs. One of the double beds mattress was completely worn out (like a 600 lb person had been sitting on the edge of the bed). By morning our clothes were damp from the high humidity in the room. There was mold on the shower curtain also. We reported this at the front desk in the morning and didn't even get an "I'm sorry". They did make a note for maintenance about the mattress. Will never stay here again.”

• Dirty rooms, didn't seem safe and unfriendly staff.

“The area was not very well lit. Did not like the outside entrance to rooms. There were bugs in the room, it was not very clean and it smelled. The breakfast room was far away and not very appealing. The staff was not very friendly and probably disliked the place more than we did!”

• the continental breakfast was nice in the morning
• we needed another key to the room and the front desk staff did not ask for identification or anything.

“Our stay was fine and the staff was very nice, but it wasn't the best experience I've had. We swam in the pool and when we got to the pool, there were no pool towels left, so we called to get some. We were there about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and we never got towels. We had to run back to the room dripping wet. Also, we had to get another key to the room later that evening and when I asked for it at the front desk, they did not ask me for identification or a name or anything. It makes me a little uneasy to know that anyone could get a key to our room if they wanted to.”

“The lobby looked very nice but the rooms were a disappointment. The shower curtain had mold on it and the lamp had cobwebs on it. Not real clean. More of a one star hotel!!!!!!”

• Very dirty, would never stay at this hotel again

“Our room was dirty, my wife found a xxx rated video in the window sill of our room, I would have been really upset if my 8 year old daughter found this as the cover was not very sightly. I brought this to the desk and checked back twice to see the manager and never heard another thing about this. I had another parnet from our baseball team tell me that they had to move rooms as they found a bag of rotting taco's in the drawer. ”

• The location was what we expected.
• This hotel was not very clean. We were in a non-smoking room with a newborn baby and could smell second-hand smoke coming into our room all night.

“Hotel is not clean or well maintained. Staff is nice enough, but not accommodating. Non-smoking room was smoky.”

• TVs did not work, tub and sink did not drain properly.

“I had stayed at this hotel 4 yrs ago and it was pretty bad. I had heard that it had been renovated so I decided to try it again. I was not impressed and will not stay there ever again. I will go to a nearby town if all other hotels are booked in Columbia. TV did not work and maintenance was called. Said they would fix it the next day, however that did not happen. The sink in bathroom would not drain and tub did not drain well either.”

• Great location, free breakfast, nice staff.
• TV remote did not work, after the third one from the front desk I just gave up. The drain on the tub would not drain very fast (standing water)

“The location was nice and the room size was generous. Had an issue with the TV and the tub drain was slow which caused standing water while taking a shower. I find that most hotels have drain problems. I would stay here again.”

• The rooms were filthy, the place is old and needs repair

“The building was run down, old, poor excuse of a hotel. One of the rooms still had something in the toilet, meaning the toilet was not flushed. Rooms were dusty and dirty, poor access to rooms. This hotel should not be rated a TWO, more like a ONE.”
