• Everything was nice and clean and the staff was very attentive.
• Not enough parking.

• Place smelled of sweat.

“Got a corner room where we could open windows which was great. Halls were dreary and long. Nice to know we do not have to live like the workers who call this home while they work in construction.”

• I liked the kitchen.
• The room looks very worn out.

“It used to be a really nice hotel. It has gone down hill and needs updating. Also, allot of traveling blue collar workers stay there and congregate to smoke at the front door. As a woman traveling alone, I felt uncomfortable going in and out of the hotel.”

• It was quiet and the apartment was spacious.
• Decor was dated.

“The complex has a wonderful location close to hospitals and shopping. While the decor could be better. It was comfortable and excellent for long term stay.”

• District Manager gave us a free upgrade.
• Kitchenette was very poorly supplied (Dishes & utensils).

“Fine hotel. Good location: close to interstate, but I didn't hear the traffic.”

• The staff was very informative about where to dine and shopping areas nearby.
• The loss of power.

“I enjoyed the hotel accommodations and my stay. My only bad experience is I was in the middle of completing some business work and needed to use laptop and could not because the battery died and the hotel lost power for about 3 hrs.”

• The parking.
• Hotel not clean; maids were for show only, not work.

“I would not stay there even if it was the cheapest, only, or live or die. It was not customer friendly. Smokers all over the place, rooms halls smell like smoke. Smokers would stand by the entrances smoking. which also included the staff. Kitchenette dirty, no silverware. we had to go ask for each item needed to cook. The pan that was dirty, not washed. Coffee in rooms. again had to go ask, at same time ask for forks.”

• The staff was very nice/friendly.
• The outside looks great, the inside left much to be desired.

“The outside of this hotel looks very nice, clean, new. The inside looks awful. Carpet stains everywhere, there was Malt liquor & salad dressing inside the fridge from the last occupant. The window was open in the room, of course we didn't notice until after 30 minutes of running the heater when the room did not warm up.(It was in the 20's outside). No hangers in closet, only 2 towels. Had to find the TV remote (under the bed). So surprising as the outside of this place looked really upscale, but the inside was horrible.”

• How big and comfortable the room was!

• Quite and right by the doctor we were going to.
• Very dirty carpet. Needed to be vacuumed.

“Nice location, nice clerk, comfortable heater, but the floor was very dirty. I could not believe that someone had not vacuumed the carpet and picked up the hair brush left on the floor from previous person. White crystal powder in the cabinet where the glasses were. Could not use them. We had to go get a glass to take medicine. Would have to look at room before staying again.”

“This hotel was well short of my expectation for a 2 star hotel. The lighting was poor, bathroom wasn't very clean, carpet was worn, no blow dryer in the room.”

• 1 working light bulb in room.

“There was 1 working light bulb in the room. I went to the desk to tell them and before they would even let me ask a question the girl wanted to look my room up on the computer. We had checked in 10 minutes prior to this. I finally said can I ask you a question. I told her we had one working light bulb, could she give me some so I could replace or someone fix. She told me that was something maintenance did and there were no maintenance people there that night. I told her I would be glad to change the lightbulbs if she would give some to me. She would not move us to another room, even though I had paid for another room for my parents and told her they could not come due to being iced in at their home in Branson, MO. I would think she could have at least swapped our room for theirs as we had not been there more than 10 minutes had not unpacked. In fact we were given incorrect directions to our room otherwise we could have informed them in less than 10 minutes about the lightbulbs. The hotel was nowhere near occupancy. Our room was very near the office and all night hotel employees were talking with friends in the corridor extremely loudly. I went to the office twice the next morning to ask a question and there was never anyone there.”

• The location was convenient.
• Absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned in a long time.

“The room was not clean. Not even vacuumed. Faucet handles covered with (soap/toothpaste) residue. Felt like I was going to go through the floor in several areas of the room.”

“First room wasn't even cleaned, bed unmade, trash in trash cans, bowl in sink. Second room I went to was a little better, still trash in bathroom trash can and no toilet paper. What else hadn't been cleaned?”

• Check-in desk clerk was very nice.
• Night clerk - smell of smoke.

“Room smelt of smoke and parties with beer were going on in the hall! Not the place to take an ill child waiting to check into children's hospital!”

• Horrible hotel.

“Several things went wrong with this hotel stay too many to go into detail. Entrance was blocked when we tried to check in and had to stumble through their flower garden to even get to the front door, I almost fell. No toilet paper in room had to call down to front desk. Room was not clean from previous guests and had to call front desk for cleaning and trash still in trash cans from whoever stayed before us. Beds were very uncomfortable. I slept on sofa and it not much better. None in front office at check out and even the maid service were looking for desk attendant, it was all locked up. Terrible stay. Wanted to just leave and find another hotel.”
