“Upon checking in, there was someone at the desk complaining that his air conditioner was not working and the staff moved him into another room. I checked in and after getting in my room, found out that the air conditioner was not working in our room either. After remembering what happened at the front desk, I did not think they would do much. But I called the front desk to tell them that it was not working. The lady told us that she could move us to another room, but it would be upstairs. My aunt was traveling with me and she can not climb stairs. We went to a local store and bought a table top fan. The drains are very slow and we have been staying at that hotel for 3 years. We have to go to doctor's visits at Ar. Children's Hospital every 3 months and stay there because it's so convenient to where we need to go. We checked out the room this morning and while we were getting up and around, wanted to use the coffee maker. The pot was broke so my aunt goes up to the front desk and asked for a new pot. The lady at the front desk was rude and acted like she did not want to even help. She told her it would be 30 or 45 minutes before she could get someone down to our room to bring us a new coffee pot. We had to get ready to leave and just was not acceptable. It is a very good hotel, but the service I feel is not good. The upkeep on the hotel has not been kept up and has declined the last 3 years we have stayed there. There are reports of air conditioners not working every time we go, drains very slow.”

“Generally, I do not do 2 star hotels, in light of that the room was adequate. The hotel staff upon check in was not accomodating. I ask if I could pay for a rollaway bed and was told that was not possible. Most hotels would just charge me for a rollaway. Laquinta does do rollaways for customers that use other hotel services.”

“The picture was VERY off! The neighborhood was scary and the exterior definitely needed to be updated. It needs to be a 1 1/2 hotel. Not a 2”

“Upon entering the first room the odor was so bad we had to leave immediately. We left our bags in a second room and took care of personal business. When we returned to take a bath and go to bed we found that the tub had hair all over the bottom. When we turned back the covers on both beds we found that both sheet had visible hair scattered all over. We were so disgusted we drove home (140 miles in a steady rain).”

“I had a problem with the cleaning crew and their kids trying to come in my room without knocking on 2 occassions. I reported it to the front desk and they told me that there was nothing they could do.”
