• Close to where we needed to go.
• Find out if there is a big gathering going on they were loud till 2:30a.m.

• Good mattresses.
• Mattresses were full size queen would be better too small.

• Quiet location, comfortable bed.
• Offered weekday evening refreshments but charged us for beverage.

• Convenient location.
• The outside stairs - there are no indoor stair cases and no elevator.

“This is an older motel. It is built around the indoor pool/bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower is great and I love the peppermint scented soap. Hey! It jump started my morning - not an easy thing to do!”

• The staff was very helpful.
• No elevators - open staircases outside the building.

“The location is very convenient to everything in Cedar Falls/Waterloo. The facilities are clean and well cared for. The bed was very comfortable - the linens were some of the best I've seen. The down side is the exterior stairs and the main entrance door that opens not to the lobby but onto the pool and bar area. The lobby is hidden off to one side.”

• Location, in house restaurant and bedding.
• There were no non-smoking rooms available and the hotel was under renovation.

• Close to the college, quiet, comfy room.
• Bathroom very small, window instead of wall to lobby.

“Pretty lobby with open pool and waterfall, open staircase to 2nd floor rooms. No continental breakfast, nice open game room with extras. Only one small computer area near front door, no speakers or head-phones on the computer.”

• Staff could be more helpful to those needing handicap accessible rooms.

“Good central location. Facility smells very strongly of chlorine from the indoor pool. Very noisy even at 11:00 pm and later due to indoor pool. Rooms were nice size except for bathroom.”

• Nice pool and hot tub.
• No elevator.

“Liked this hotel a lot. We stayed the Thursday evening before Labor Day weekend and the hotel seemed pretty empty, so it was very quiet. Our room was very clean and neat. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the public spaces of the hotel were very neat, clean, and well kept.”

• They offered free computer use and many more extras.
• One night was quite loud into the night with wedding party in room next door.

“Over all I was very pleased everything far met my expectations of the place. The staff was also very helpful and my son loved the pool.”

• One bathroom door stuck, one plug-in did not work, one cup was dirty.

“Our experience was pleasant because it was our granddaughter's first time in a hotel and everything was exciting. She was thrilled and we noticed all the attractive features especially the pool.”

• The room was very welcoming and I loved the soaps/lotion. Made us feel that we were in a luxury hotel.
• The bar is open around the pool and made the whole area smell of cigarette smoke.

“We have enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is convenient and comfortable. It is a good place for families. I wish the hot tub worked better and that it didn't smell of smoking. The rooms are comfortable and treat you like you are at a spa.”
