• Convenient to the strip, easy to get anywhere.
• The elevator smelled bad, could have been a better breakfast.

“The hotel could have been so much better if they had taken the time to see to the little things like removing the carpet in the elevator and replacing with tile or linoleum, recaulking around the bathtub etc.”

• Remote didn't work, and room cards had to get reset 3 times.

“Elevator smelled like someone had urinated in it as well as the hot tub. Pool was not clean and.”

• The hotel was easy to find signage was obvious.
• The furnishings were worn and not as clean as I expected.

“While the hotel was easy to find and accessible, in my opinion it wasn't as up to par as other motels Ive stayed in within the same chain. The furnishing was old and rather worn, and the bathroom needed additional attention before I was willing to shower. The drapes did not close all the way, leaving me feel a bit exposed to the parking lot (there was a car parked right in front of my window). On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and seemed eager to make my brief stay a good one.”

• I liked the heat lamp in the bathroom and the fridge, and hair dryer in the room.
• The hot tub shot cold water out the jets.

“The whole place looked a little rundown. We got in the hot tub that night, which does stay open till 11pm (a plus), and got into Luke warm water. Cold water was shooting out of the jets. Once we got out we felt grimy from the water. Our room was right next to the elevator which was very noisy (because it was very old). We could hear everything going on anywhere in the hotel.”

• Helpful, pleasant front desk clerk.
• Malfunctioning toilet in one of the rooms had to be fixed every time it was flushed or it would keep running. No lounge chair as advertised.

“Overall a nice place if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two. Good location, close to restaurants and shopping. Disappointed as there was no lounge chair in either room as advertised. That was one of the deciding factors in choosing this hotel.”

• Noise at 2am both nights, poor conditions of room.

“If you want to stay at the Lake of the Ozarks this may be the cheapest hotel to stay at but, it is worth the extra 20 dollars a night to stay elsewhere.”

• Location.
• Hotel very dirty and overpriced. When I complained the staff was very rude and said "why don't you stay somewhere else". Will never stay again.

“This was the worst Super 8 I have ever visited. It was very dirty and the staff rude. It was highly overpriced. I spoke to a relative when I came home who had stayed there two years ago and found it was in the same condition THEN! I wish I had asked before I stayed there. When I complained the management said I should stay somewhere else. Believe me I will! It has a good location is the only positive. If I were Super 8 I would make them stop using my name (this one is a franchise). ”
