• I thought the staff was great! And over all it was good experience.
• I thought the food, room service and drinks were over priced. The pools needed serious cleaning.

“I've stayed at Tan-Tar - A several times before. Usually stayed in the Estates. This was our first time in the hotel. It was kept clean and the beds were comfortable. Still needed a little updating, but all in all, for a Hotel, it was very nice. The staff was great! The only complaint I had besides the cost of food and drink was, that the pools were pretty dirty. The wading pool was kind of dirt.”

• Staff was very friendly, pool was very clean, and great view of the lake.
• Attractions were too expensive and nothing was open due to season even though it was before labor day.

“My husband requested champagne and strawberries. They brought it up even though they don't usually do that. The thing that was bad was the cruise boat was closed until the next weekend. Summer wasn't over but the hotel acted like it was. The wave runners were way overpriced for rentals. You couldn't drive the wave runners that far either. The pools closed too early at night as well. Bring your walking shoes because the resort sits on hills!”

• Amazing spaces, so much to see and do. We enjoyed every minute.
• Nothing!

“We did not know what to expect but when we drove up to the main lodge, wow! Great pools and fun stuff to do, great food at the restaurants, we really had a good time.”

• There was so much to do right there, we really enjoyed the convenience.
• Our room was very worn, looking and some parts were not clean.

“We really enjoyed the "extras" at the horseback riding, restaurants, boating, fishing, etc. It was very convenient and fun. My only complaint about anything was that the quality of the room was far from luxury, if you would have taken away all of the amenities of the resort, I would have been very disappointed.”
