• The pool looked nice, although the spa was broken.
• There were dead bugs on the floor of our room.

“Staff was not so friendly. I called several hours before arrival to make sure we had two double beds, and we were booked for one queen. I asked if we could get a double room, and was told no.”

• It was clean, the staff was friendly.
• We had a bit of trouble with key cards and opening the doors.

“This was a clean hotel with a friendly staff. They have a small continental breakfast available. An indoor pool and whirlpool plus an outdoor pool. It's also conveniently located.”

• The outdoor patio.
• The refrigerator did not work.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was nice, clean and convenient. The comforter was a little too thick but overall my stay could not have been better. I will likely stay there again if I need a place to stay.”

• I like having a continental breakfast available every morning.
• I didn't like the fact that this hotel didn't have an elevator. I also had a problem with the housekeeping cleaning the room, not a very good job.

“I was surprised that this hotel didn't have an elevator which was a problem since our room was on the second floor. The fitness room was also unavailable for use since we were told that it was under construction. My other issue was that the housekeeping staff didn't really clean the room, just replaced the towels and changed the sheets. The room was not vacuumed nor was the bathroom cleaned.”

• Their outside pool was okay.
• Bugs in bed, dirty carpet and chairs, no fitness center, game room had no AC.

“The hotel needs to be cleaned up and repaired. All needed a carpet cleaning, had dirty sitting chairs, no fan in bathroom, one room had bugs in bed. The fitness center was closed due to no equipment, the game room had no AC. Baymont Inn has agreed to provide one full day stay per room as compensation for the bad experience (we stayed two days with three rooms).”

• This hotel was overall convenient to all the places I wanted to visit. It was clean & the staff was great.
• The one drawback was that the seal around tub where the wall meets the tub needed some upkeep. I can't blame the maid for a structural problem.

“I had a wonderful quiet stay. I shopped, wrote and napped in a huge room with a fridge, desk and king size bed. The outlet mall in Lake of the Ozarks is huge and wonderfully varied. I wouldn't recommend the Denny's attached to the hotel, but there were plenty of other places, both local and chain, within 10 minutes to explore and enjoy.”

• Stay was very nice, location was great.
• Our room was never cleaned. We left the room at 9 and returned at 4.

“The hotel was very nice. Pools were great, people were friendly, rooms were nice, overall stay was great. However we returned to our hotel the first afternoon and found that our room had not been cleaned or fresh towels given. I called the front desk and was told I could come down and get new towels, but that all had gone home already. That was the only downside to our short vacation.”

• Quiet, 2 pools, coffee & refrigerator in room.
• Had to ask for pool towels, bathroom small, breakfast crowded( area small).

• Feather down covers.
• Breakfest could been better.

“The cleanness of this hotel was excellent; enjoyed indoor and outdoor pool; room was very comfortable; staff good on asking for extra toiletry; location right in the middle of attractions. Will stay here again.”

• Bed was comfortable.
• Basic amenities not delivered.

“WiFi did not work at end of hotel. Lobby computer did not work nor did it have a printer, no towels in pool areas or hot tub areas, had to go to front desk, no extra pillows in hotel for guest. Continental breakfast not worth visiting, will not stay at again too many inconveniences and failure to live up to amenities, indoor pool also closed. Don't bother.”

• Having both indoor/outdoor pools.
• No hot water for a day and a half.

“The room was fairly clean, there was not much of a view. There were holes in the comforter. The bathroom was very clean. There was no hot water for a day and a half due to a gas leak which sparked a fire, we didn't get back to our room till 11:30pm then at 1:15am we had to go to the hallway due to a tornado spotted, I know that it wasn't their fault, but not real happy after the no water and fire by our room. I am sure if we stayed there again, we would not have to deal with what we did, I think it was just a bad night! I probably not have a problem staying there again, but I would be a little nervous!”

• Hotel had a very convenient location and new carpeting.
• Beds were worn out and uncomfortable. There are no elevators to reach the 2nd floor.

“This hotel has some nice amenities for the price. It is in an easily accessible location for visitors. The carpeting is mostly new and it is very clean. The indoor pool and spa looked inviting. The outdoor pool was being prepared, but was not yet open. The breakfast was very minimal. It would be nice to have an elevator to the 2nd floor. It is difficult to drag one's luggage up the steps.”

• It is easy to locate, and minutes from about all of the Lake of the Ozarks attractions; staff were helpful.
• One light bulb was blown out, they brought a new bulb immediately.

“Bring your swimming suit: the pools (inside and outside) are clean and attractive. Rooms are large, bed was fine, restroom was sparkling. You could not hear any road noise despite the fact that it sits in a V between two highways. There is adequate parking; breakfast is adequate but it has a Denney's attached if you want more. There is an ironing board with iron, small refrigerator, and interesting storage spaces for hang-ups and smaller items. Baymont has done a great job!”

• It had horizontal columns popping out of the ceiling giving a dingy feel.

• Evening staff friendly and helpful.
• Constant dripping of condensation off ceiling in the pool area. Seemed like Rain!

“Day staff unfriendly, with minimal customer service. Pool/hot tub was dirty, and with no ventilation in the pool area condensation constantly dripped from ceiling. Making it seem like it was raining indoors. While doing a room check to make sure we hadn't lost anything under the bed, we found a half eaten candy bar. Continental breakfast was okay except we stayed on New Years Eve/Day, which was a Tuesday, and breakfast was to stay open on Weekends and Holidays through 10 am. The staff starting putting breakfast away at 8:50.”

• The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The restaurant next door was very good. The food was good and so was the service.
• The linens and towels were worn and old.

• The location.
• It was not clean and the parking was very poor.

“The staff was very nice and friendly. We could find no parking near where our room was, and had 2 walk a long way. At the free breakfast there was no where 2 sit, every table was full. Out room had dirt in the corners and the fitness room had no towels and the equipment was broken (some).”
