• The location was ok to get to different area attractions.
• The hotel was overall nasty!

“I will not stay here again. The room was nasty, the walls were thin and the pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom, even in the shallow end. The playground was a broken swing and a monkey bar. I expected much better for the price. The police were even called while we were there. I don't know what it was about but it made me very uncomfortable. And, they would not honor my coupon for 20% off that came from the Hot Springs visitor's magazine.”

“Not a safe place to stay for ladies traveling alone. Very dirty, door would not close well, very few towels. Needless to say, we did not stay there. We went to another hotel. Do not stay there.”

• Backs up to the national park.
• Although indicated as handicapped accessible, it was anything but.

“We booked a handicapped accessible room because I am in a wheelchair. Although the room had a roll-in shower in the bathroom, there were no grab bars anywhere besides, the shower looked dirty. The doors were narrow and the bathroom was too small for me to turn my wheelchair. The toilet was too low for me and the temporary "grab bars" were so rickety that I was afraid of falling if I used them. There was also no door to the bathroom therefore not affording anyone any privacy. The walkways in the room were barely wide enough for me to get through and we had to rearrange the furniture for me to be able to move about the room.”

“Where to begin! Although we booked in advance, we didn't get the rooms we confirmed. Because the hotel was booked, we were stuck. Bottom line, my first--and probably last--visit to a Roadway Inn was horrible. I have limited space so I'll summarize our experience: We didn't have enough towels (2 large, 1 hand towel, & 1 wash towel) and were told we couldn't get any until the following morning after 9:00; when we arrived the floors were dirty (M&M's and orange seeds on the floor, and sticky substance on nightstand)--that too would be addressed once we checked out; uncleaned bathroom and filthy tub; and, hotel worker who said she'd do what she could to find us towels showed up later to offer us "floor mats" as an alternative. After continued calls and in-person inquiries, towels that were being held for pick-up by other guests were given to us. The next morning we spoke with the manager who did apologize, but continued to say he had done all he could do. We did receive a 10% discount for not getting the rooms we confirmed, but continued to tell the mgr it wasn't about the money. It was about the rudeness of the hotel staff and their non-responsiveness to our needs that were not out of the ordinary. Clean rooms and towels are the least one expects when checking into a hotel. Another interesting note, while at the desk we overheard the staff person say, while on the phone, that another guest had been "hysterical" because upon inspecting his room he found pizza in the microwave. Unbelievable! We have lodged a complaint with the corporate office, but who knows where this will go? It'll likely be too little, too late as the damage to these guests has been done.”

• The check in clerk was extremely friendly and helpful.
• Hair was left on the bathroom floors, tub and countertop.

“The hotel was easy to locate and access. Although the our bathroom was not very clean, we slept well due to thick walls between rooms.”

• Could not take a shower it was dirty with leftover soap still in the bathtub.
