• Located on the lake, nice view which I didn't enjoy because they wanted more money even with an empty hotel.
• Over charged me for a mediocre room.

“Way over price. Complimentary internet & breakfast were acceptable. When I asked for a king bed (hotel was empty), they told me I had to pay $25 extra per night.”

• The hotel was on the lake and very relaxing.
• The room was a handicap room.

“I really enjoyed my stay, but was not pleased with the overall service. I asked the clerk if he would change it, but he indicated that there was nothing he could do. I explained that I am not disabled and felt really bad, because someone could really need that facility. In past experiences, if something was wrong I could generally work things out. Being a veteran, I just hope that the room was not needed by a deserving disabled person.”

• Being by the lake. Friendly people.
• Being put on the first floor when ask for a high level room.

“The location, food, and staff where great. The room was smaller than I had thought it would be. Will not be staying at this hotel again.”

• Construction was being done at the hotel, when I said I was a late sleeper, the staff moved me to the other side on the hotel. Very thoughtful.
• The hotel was what you should expect for the rate charged, I didn't have any disappointments.

“The staff was friendly, location is good, low traffic, but close to everything. The rooms are not over stuffed with furniture. We do not travel to hang out in the room, to us if it is clean and the bed is comfortable that's what counts.”

• The breakfast bar was good - sausage, waffles, eggs. Not a lot of choices, but more than cereal in plastic sealed containers.
• The room was remarkably small.

“This hotel came recommended highly to me, and with the higher price, I was expecting a bit more. Unfortunately, in Hot Springs, hotels are pricy. The room was disappointingly small; too small for me, my wife and children. There was no roll-away. The breakfast, though, was a bright spot: sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits, etc. It's not a full breakfast bar, but it did go toward offsetting the small room. Service was compliant, quick and prompt. A nice 'overnighter' for a business man, but if you have a family, look elsewhere.”

• The breakfast bar was very good- homemade waffles awesome.
• Location to Downtown Hot Springs ok-but not real close.

“Cleanliness was ok- I prefer cleaner, newer facilities-A 20 minutes trip to the Downtown area-would have preferred to stay in Downtown area. Was convenient to Mall, shopping and restaurants. Overall, was OK. No attendant after 12:00 to get change for vending machines.”

• Nice rooms.
• No indoor heated poor as there were some in the same price bracket with that amenity.

“Pleasant for a short stay or with children. A little distant from the heart of the town. Better for a summer stay than winter as one can use the pool facility.”

• The view was beautiful.
• The mattress was horrible. It was so soft (king) and we would roll to the middle. Elevator quit and we were on the 3rd floor.

“The view was beautiful, the bed was horrible. The room we were put in had used soap still on the tub and no fresh soap to use for the bath. Also the elevator quit working on Monday morning and it was difficult being on the 3rd floor. As we were leaving Tuesday morning, the elevator people showed up.”

“It is an extremely awesome hotel with an extremely accommodating and professional staff and management. I will stay with Baymont again.”

• The bed was very uncomfortable.

“I thought it was great for the price. The breakfast was great, the service was wonderful! Just the bed, it was hard and uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to get up in the morning.”

“The facility is located right on lake Hamilton which could be a great benefit to the casual holiday traveler. Free wifi is definitely a benefit to the business customer. The staff appeared to be well trained, courteous and helpful.”
