“It was a fair value for the star rating. I'd stay there again. Some people seem to expect a 5-star hotel for a 1-star price.”

“Poor area of town with no conveniences of restaurants or stores. Rooms were filthy and I was placed by the pool which had noise late into the evening beyond the usual hours of operation.”

“I should have just forfeited my money and gone to another hotel. Staff was courteous - that's the only positive thing I can say about the experience.”

“We were extremely disappointed by the hotel as it was not what we expected at all. We had bags of trash outside the door, there were two mattresses up against the wall (outside) and it smelled like sewage. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of old smoke. To sum it up, my kids wanted to sleep in the car!”

“This was one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. They were unwilling to put my wife and I in a King room. The room may have only been 10% occupied. Very dissatisfied.”

“The room was roomy and clean as it could get. The carpet is heavily worn. Rooms appear old. No fridge or microwave, internet was down all the time I was there. Pool was green and not useable. There was no cont. breakfast. Even the coffee was gone after 930 or 1000. I wouldnt do it again.”

“I had to come to Natchitoches to see my son who is in college there. I chose this hotel b/c of the pool accommodations. I have to middle school aged children who were looking forward to swimming. We were not told that the pool had not had water in it. It was an extreme disappointment. Also, upon walking into the room, it smelled of stale smoke, and I requested a nonsmoking room. There had apparently been some water damage at one point b/c water stains bled through the paint. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and the experience was much better than this one by far. I will definitely not be booking at this hotel again. The only perk I do have to say is that there was a Natchitoches police officer patrolling the grounds. That made me comfortable.”

“This Ramada is a bit threadbare and isolated. Not bad as a budget stay. The buffet breakfast is 5.50 but could have been fresher.”

“I choose the hotel for an overnight stay for the local Jass Festival, however my non smoking room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and desperately needed painting, mocking birds outside my window sung all night long and kept me awake, the shower was the only updated thing in the room and was above average as hotel showers go and made up for the sleepless night.”

“Good atmosphere, quiet, clean, friendly staff - will recommend to others. For extended guests recommend microwaves and refrigerators in each room.”

“An ancient Holiday Inn that is below standards for middle class incomes. Out of the way and best suited for area residents.”

“It was a little out of the way 6 miles from interstate, but is close to downtown, which was very cool. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was closed that was not cool. The rooms were ready and sheets were clean. A quiet hotel, which is a plus. Landscaping was nice but sidewalks needed cleaning. Excellent pool area.”

“This hotel was at one time a very nice place. It has not been updated in a long time so the sheets are threadbare and the carpet stained. The towels were small and rough. The light over the bathroom mirror did not work. There were vending machines at frequent intervals and the staff was friendly the grounds in the courtyard were well kept and the central areas seemed to be well kept. The surrounding area was overgrown and the hotel though not far from town seemed very remote (not it a good way).”

“I had a horrible night at the Ramada. The location is creepy, and I got lost. The hotel room was so nasty; the tub was dirty and the floor was filthy.”
