• Nothing positive about this place.
• No hot water, no a/c (fan only), hole in box springs, old stained bedspreads, dirty toilets. Like something in a cheap movie.

“This place was absolutely unacceptable. We were shown to 2 rooms initially that looked like something found at a truck stop or something out of a cheap movie. I had planned a trip for my mother and 3 sisters to the annual Christmas Festival of Lights in this beautiful little town and had booked rooms back in the summer. I've never had a bad experience at a Days Inn before and this was the only accommodations available so I took them. After seeing the first room, I asked for a refund and the manager told us that she could not refund my money but would show us to "better" rooms. These rooms were only slightly better. No hot water, no a/c (fan only), dirty toilet, coffeemaker poured coffee all of the countertop, not tissue in tissue box, hole in box springs, stained mattress, old stained, dirty bedspreads, looked as though a dog might have chewed the knob off of the night stand, no clock, you get the picture...and I did too. I took pictures to send to the Days Inn Corporate office and because the clerk was so rude, I am writing a letter to the President of Days Inn, the Mayor of Natchitoches, the Chamber of Commerce and the Tourist Bureau to tell them what a dump this place is. Had it not been so late the evening of our arrival and had I not had my 76-year-old mother with me after a 7-hour drive to get there, we would have looked for lodging elsewhere. We checked out the next day even though I had paid for 2 nights. I had had to sign a contract for a 2-night minimum stay back in August but didn't ever anticipate that the place would be so bad. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and would not recommend this place to anyone.”

• Location, location, location!
• Flat pillows, high-pitched whine in pipes 24/7, tepid bath water, and office closed at 0830 Sunday morning.

“This hotel needs to be properly renovated. Just because the staff doesn't read the newspaper (the staff told us this) doesn't mean that the customer should have to do without. Upon check-in I had to take a bag of trash out of the room and I had to go to the office for drinking cups, washcloths and toilet paper. I cannot recommend this motel to anyone.”

• Nothing about this hotel was great or worth talking about.
• We had to stand outside and pay for our rooms upfront. The bed was made with blood and urine stains on the covers and sheets. Ash tray was full of ashes.

“I was in town to go to my uncle's funeral, and ended up with such a bad experience that I could not sleep. We were given another room due to the condition of the one that was assigned, but the bed was uncomfortable, and I kept feeling as though something was crawling on me. I would not recommend this hotel for my dog.”
