• Stuck in a smoking room and hard beds.

“We had a hard time finding the hotel, there were no signs. The bed was very hard and squeaked. The hotel smelled like bleach like they were covering up a different bad smell. Overall a bad experience. Would never stay there again.”

• The staff was rude, the bed was rock hard and squeaked, hotel smelled bad, was loud.

“The hotel was hard to find, there were no signs. It was a very plain hotel which we expected but the smell of bleach in the room gave me headaches and seemed to be covering up another smell. The bed was very hard an squeaked at each turn. There were no public spaces outside of the rooms which made the experience very impersonal. We would never have chosen to stay in this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone.”

• The location met our needs.
• The phone service didn't work, room didn't have remote, items from previous guest behind TV stand.

“The hotel's phone system was not working while we were there, and while we had a cell phone with us, our room was lacking a TV remote and since there was no phone, we had to go to the desk to ask for one. In looking for a remote, we looked behind the stand the TV was on and noticed a few items that were left behind by previous guest's). Also looked under the bed and the lining of the bed was sagging to the floor. Not a lot of attention to detail here. This hotel also allows pets and we encountered several dogs when walking through the (very small) lobby. While waiting to check in, a man and his dog got off the elevator and the dog promptly touched his nose to my bare leg.”

• Smell of cigarette smoke, noise during the night, rude staff, phones were down all night long, bathrooms were not that clean. Terrible place to stay!

• Give you a room with one bed and then you end up paying if you need two.

• Convenience, economy.
• We had a very bad experience with room cleanliness.

“I have already notified the Extended Stay group about our experience. The room was dirty. Hairs in the shower area, long curly black hair on bathroom floor, greasy countertops in the kitchen. Also, maids knocked on your door at 7 am regardless of the do not disturb sign and although speaking English in the hallway, told you they didn't understand English when you asked why they knocked on your door. I believe the hotel is normally at least a 2.5 star establishment or better, but they definitely fell very short this time.”

• Its location felt safe, and it was somewhat attractive and clean.
• It was more of an apartment than a hotel/motel. No coffee, shampoo, pool, breakfast, nothing you would expect a motel to have.

“Again, as happy as I was to find a motel for such a low price, it wasn't really a motel in my mind, it was more like an apartment in the fact it had a kitchen. No pool, coffee, breakfast, shampoo. It just wasn't the motel experience we were expecting. Worst of all was the fact that I left my pillow there and when I called a few days later to ask for it, they could not 'find' it. There is no doubt as to whether I left it there or not, as we didn't stay anywhere else, and my husband was teasing me in the motel for bringing it along in the first place. I'm disappointed that housekeeping wasn't honest enough to bring it to the lost and found. Also, when I called, the front desk wasn't very friendly or apologetic. She was borderline-rude. The front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in, however. And the room felt pretty clean and nice in general.”

• The room was not thoroughly cleaned, I had one staff member that was never at the desk.
