• Kind staff.
• Pool & security fell extremely short. Security in this area should have been a must.

“The staff was very nice, the breakfast I would rate a 7 out of 10, the neighborhood is about a 4 out of 10. There is suppose to be security after 10 pm. We were outside until 11:30 and we never saw any security. The pool was terrible. There were water bugs in the pool, which tells me there was no chlorine.”

• Most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in.
• Pool was dirty, shower water not very hot.

“Room was very nice. The bed was
very comfortable. Pleasant front desk, nice breakfast. Only complaint is that the shower water was not very hot and they need better shower heads.”

• The King room was very large and roomy.
• The breakfast was just muffins and waffles. Could be more.

“The hotel was great for the price and clean inside and out. Workout room is one treadmill in a room, so it's not really useable. Overall all though, we were pleased and got our money's worth. Close to casinos too so that's a plus.”

• The price.
• Too many kids running around, I think it was a little league team.

“It was nice, for the price. Very convenient, the neighborhood was a little sleazy after dark and the hot tub did not work. I was really looking forward to the hot tub, oh well.....”

• We enjoy vesting lake Charles & plan on staying @ la Quinta again soon it was an excellent time.
• We booked two rooms wanted them side by side ended up with one upstairs & one downstairs.

“I will tell my friends if they plan on staying in lake Charles. That la Quinta is one of the best places in town.”

• The staff was basically nice and helpful.
• Filthy room.

“A/c did not work properly. Carpet was filth (crackers and cracker crumbs on the floor. No Kleenex. Commode lid loose (it moved when you had to lean over and wipe.”
