• The hot tub wasn't working and the elevator wasn't working and you had to climb flights of stairs to get to room.

“ Well the hot tub didn't work and when we got our room there wasn't a smoke alarm. When they were made a were of it it didn't get fixed. We had to climb flights of stairs to get to the room that the elevator didn't work so my grandmother couldn't come and see my children that she is 87 years old and she cant climb stairs with a walker and my mother couldn't come to the hotel for the same reason when you talk to manger he is rude to you and he didn't try to make any thing right beside. ”

“The hotel was not as clean as should be. I was bitten by a spider and had to go to hospital. I
have called the hotel regarding this and they have not called me back as yet.”

• The pool and Jacuzzi were great!
• Beds were not very comfortable.

“Overall all the experience was pleasant. The staff was helpful; putting us close to the pool for the kids, giving us directions to places, making some suggestions.”

• The swimming pool, breakfast.
• The beds were horrible. Sunken in the middle and difficult to sleep in with another person.

“Basic hotel. Nothing special. Staff was nearly friendly. The beds were just horrible. They were sunken in the middle and the pillows were flat. I would not go back to this hotel based on this factor.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• They had problems with AC unit in our first room, but fixed it right away.

“Our overall experience was good because when we had a problem, the staff switched our room and then cut the price for us because of the inconvenience of moving rooms. They were very nice above all and helped with smiling faces. And they were very nice with our baby.”

“I would not stay here again. The lobby and breakfast area were under construction. The elevator had a bad smell and felt as if it would break down at any moment. Shower had mold at the caulk joints. There were no spare for
outlets in the room, only the ones for the lights.”

• Rude staff, dirty rooms, needs remodeling, and smelly.

“The hotel was smelly, the staff was rude and the beds were uncomfortable. Good for a quick stay but not for a weekend stay.”

• Fairly close to downtown Minneapolis.
• Dirty overall, soiled bedding, paltry blankets.

“The rooms need to be extensively cleaned and they should really think about remodeling the rooms. I was disgusted when I walked into the room. I understand that hotels aren't required to clean the bedspreads every time they clean a room. The bedspread in this room definitely should have been cleaned because there were! S on it! It was quite disgusting!”

• The lobby was clean, and the hotel was easy to locate and convenient for dining.
• The bedding did not look real clean, and the continental breakfast was pretty minimal.

“Good for a quick stay, if you don't look too closely at the sheets. Comfortable and the pool area were clean and easily accessible.”

“The rooms were disgusting! There was no microwave, no ashtrays for a smoking room. The staff was not very informational on directions to our destination within the city.”

• First room was filthy. Replacement room wasn't much better.

“Normally super 8 motels are at least comfortable and clean. This was a dump. The staff tried to provide good service but the bed, showers, hallways and elevator we disgusting.”

• I didn't like anything.
• Dirty, dingy, and smelly.

“I had to be switched into a second room 10 min after check in because the bed sagged to the floor in the middle and the fridge didn't work. The second room wasn't much better the bedspread had old s in it, the whole 3rd floor had a bad odor the beds were way uncomfortable and the fridge temp was way off. It was just not a god choice to stay there. Then when I was checking out they give me the bill with what you guys actually pay which was $20 cheaper and well that ed apparently we aren't supposed to see that. I was like what and the lady at the desk said that's why you should book straight through us and not through on line companies.”

• Very good location. Close to downtown and mall.
• Hotel was not as good as advertised.

“Hotel staff was friendly but there were some "questionable" characters hanging around the hotel lobby." Continental breakfast" consisted of a box of doughnuts, some bagels, and a broken juice machine. When we entered the second floor the whole floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Rooms were not divided into smoking and non-smoking, so the room right next to us was a smoking room. Our room was pretty clean, but our blanket had a cigarette hole in it and the TV was, I know it is hard to believe, black and white! I would only recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quick place to sleep, or if you are looking to save a lot of money on your trip. Otherwise, I would stay away.”

• Location was convenient, and it was very inexpensive.
• The hotel in general was run down, in need of updates.

“This hotel is in a good location, only about 20 minutes from the airport but much cheaper than the hotels by the airport. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants in the area and convenient to both Mpls and St. Paul. However, you get what you pay for. And the bed/pillows weren't comfortable and the hotel in general (including the room) was just run down and in need of a facelift. If you are looking for a somewhat luxurious, comfortable place to stay this is probably not it. If you need a quick, inexpensive place to crash for a night this hotel will get the job done.”
