“I liked the Ramada Mall / Airport in Bloomington. I got a great deal. If you think about it, it costs $5.00 more than a Motel 6 in the same area, but you get internet, a swimming pool, a flat screen TV, a nice bed, and all the hotel amenities you'd expect of a higher level hotel.”

“ Coming back after the Monday night pack, the room key didn't work, had to walk from the farthest spot in the hotel and then was giving the wrong room key when we told them it wasn't right. Back and forth what a joke! Old bag of popcorn laying under the chair dusty. ”

“This hotel was easy to find. I traveled with a group of friends to Minnesota to visit the Mall of America for 3 days and the staff was polite and helpful. The shower was a little small but the bed was comfortable and the pool was busy but big. The free shuttle service to the mall was awesome too! I was impressed with the hotel and would definitely return! I loved it!”

“If you want a friendly, clean hotel close to MOA. This is it. We left our home early, early in the morning and checked about 9-10 am if we could park our car in the lot and use the shuttle. They had a room already available for us to check in! We were able to put our luggage in the room, freshen up, then take their shuttle over to the mall for the day. The hotel is a little dated, but very clean. The pool was fun, and large. The pizza from the restaurant was good. The only downside to this hotel was their overpriced, under quality breakfasts. The food was bland, and I was not paying $5 for a small box of cereal. They would do better to offer a buffet, or a small complimentary continental breakfast.”

“When renovations are completed, it will be a nice hotel. Close to Mall of America and the restaurant was excellent. Indoor pool was nice sized but was usually out of towels. Wireless access did not work for the 2 days we were there. Tech support said they were working on it.”

“The comedy club was a lot of fun and the only reason we chose this hotel. The bathroom sink was updated but nothing else was. Pictures were taken off walls which left dark shadows where they had hung. Beds were very uncomfortable - none of us got much sleep. A very long walk to our room.”

“Very close to either airport or friendly staff. Older, outdated furnishings and the towels are almost scratchy. I also had so much static electricity in my bed I had to take off the blanket. I was afraid I was going to spontaneously combust.”

“We called before arrival to request a crib, upon check in (3 pm) we again requested the crib, it took three more calls to the front desk before we finally got a crib at 11:30 PM for our extremely overtired daughter. In addition the hotel is older and no remodeling to the room we stayed in had been done, the shower head is only about 5 feet 5 inches off the ground, if you are taller than that you must duck or sit down to take a shower, cramped rooms, uncomfortable, stained furniture. Not a good choice for young families or those liking newer amenities.”

“I would recommend this hotel for the following reasons: across parking lot from mall of America, across street from Ike a, right off main interstate. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

“I chose this hotel because of price, normally I would stay at Embassy Suites and probably will not stray from Embassy Suites in the future. This hotel was very dated. I felt as though I were jeopardizing security.”

“The hotel is in a great location. I booked the room the day we checked in. Maybe if it would have been possible to book it earlier the price would have been better. Over all it was a good experience.”

“Operators did not pick up the phone. Service was slow. I did not have a TV Remote in my room and electrical outlets were hard to find and not in obvious locations. Hotel was so large they gave us a walking map to room when they should have had us drive to nearest entry first. Front Desk was not trained enough to have ordinary customer relations service skills and they were obviously understaffed.”

“Friday night I arrived at the airport pickup as the shuttle was leaving. When the shuttle returned a group of men pushed past me and another flight attendant completely filling the shuttle. The driver told us, "What do you want me to do about it?" Sat. I spent the day at the hotel because I had late flights that evening. The maid banged on my door, woke me up, and barged in even though I posted the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I was not dressed, and thus not pleased to have my door flung wide open. They tried to open the door again Sun. but I had the extra lock on. However, this was not the worst. Sat., I flew late into the night, slept in a hotel in North Dakota for four hours and flew back to Minneapolis early in the morning. I was required by my workplace to have additional rest at the Ramada before flying home Sun. evening. I called for the shuttle at 8:45 am. I was told the driver was at the airport but if I missed him, he'd return at 9:15. He didn't return at 9:15 and I called again at 9:20. The lady at the front desk talked to me like a child, informing me of the exact color of the van and what the driver was wearing. She also suggested that I was at the wrong terminal. However, I was told he would be there within 5 minutes. He did not return then or at 9:45. I was finally picked up at 10:15. The driver explained to me that he did not pick up every thirty minutes, he only dropped off passengers unless he was notified otherwise. The front desk staff members did not seem to be aware of this, and despite the number of times I called the front desk (more than five), neither of them called to double check with the driver. Due to this lack of communication, I missed church and was not able to worship or take communion, and developed a sore throat from waiting in the cold. The lady at the front desk tried to solve my problem by asking "What can I do for you? What do you want to make it better?" She did not apologize, only offered movies or food to make it all better. ”
