• Great location near U of M.
• Staff should all be fired. Housekeepers cleaned room 2/5 days.

“Location is great. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff is horrible. This is a wonderful hotel if you don't care about having your room cleaned or need anything from the front desk.”

• The foul smell in the lobby and outside the entrance.

• Proximity to the University of Minnesota.
• Could smell smoke in the air (hallways - not rooms).

“This hotel is ideally located if you are visiting the University of Minnesota campus. Also within walking distance of downtown Minneapolis nightlife. Very well maintained hotel and the staff was excellent.”

• It is a great location, especially to the University of Minnesota.
• Parking was only available in a privately owned lot and cost me $18 total because I had to leave and come back once.

“The bed was extremely comfortable. I normally don't sleep very well and I slept like a baby. The room was large and clean. They provide a free shuttle to the Metrodome where you can then get on the light rail system which ends in Bloomington right at the Mall of America. Very easy to travel around this way.”

“I was given a room which was infested with bed bugs. I was treated like the situation was my problem and I had to repeatedly insist on fair treatment. I was shocked that the hotel did not actively do everything they could to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. On the contrary, I had to fight every day, every step of the way, to ensure that I had a place to sleep.”

• The location was great. There were several cafes around and good view of the city. When I checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly.
• Parking is difficult. When checking out, the front desk staff was not able to answer my questions and not as friendly as when I checked in.

“I did like this hotel for the location and the price. When I was checking out, I tried to explain to the front desk clerk that I should not be charged by Holiday Inn. I was very disappointed and at the present time, they still have not resolved the issue.”

• I thought the room service was very prompt.
• Only one restaurant in hotel.

“I very much enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Metrodome in Minneapolis. It was within walking distance of the Metrodome and there was a good selection of restaurants in the area. This location was also convenient to the Downtown area. The room service staff was very prompt on delivering an order in less than 1/2 hour.”

• We were in town for the bears game and they had a Chicago style hotdog stand setup before the game. Priceless.
• They gave us the wrong time the gates would open before the game it was cold.

• The service and amenities do not meet the price you pay.

“I had selected this hotel for the sake of the location. The hotel does have a courtesy van but will only drive within a three mile radius of the hotel. Additionally, they will pick you up when it is convenient for them. I had stayed in one of the suites. Very overrated. I had more comfortable stays in hotels that were priced significantly less. The room was clean but I learned that the housekeeping person had made phone calls that were charged to my room. There is no wireless internet; I had to use a very long cable that was supplied. I thought this would be a nice place to stay, but it is certainly overrated for the price and location.”

• Very convenient location. Lobby clean. Room size comfortable (medium, not small).
• After maid service, TV was on, remote on bed, beds made but messy. TV not watched by myself. Toilet seat broken.
