  • Breakfast was great! Room was acceptable. Great location.
  • No indoor swimming pool. Park by door. No central gathering area.

“As a stop for a solo traveler or for a couple, this is a great locations and a great price. For a family, this is a great price but not a great property. No indoor pool, no central gathering area makes for room sequestered kids.”

  • Free snacks in lobby.
  • Did not feel safe.

“Facility seems very old. The room was clean, but there was an odd odor when I walked in. The internet access was fine, the clerk was friendly, there was bottled water and snacks available in the lobby. I was travelling alone and placed in a room at the very back of the property it was a little unnerving.”

  • I really liked the southern style decor and was very impressed with the hotel for the price.
  • The only thing that was a little bit of an inconvenience was that they were out of my favorite soda.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. For the price, I was very impressed by the amenities of wireless internet and complimentary breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.”

  • Friendly, helpful staff.
  • Hot tub not working.

“My daughter is going to school in Springfield, so we have been making a couple of trips a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful and generally, we have had no problems staying there. My only complaint is that the last two years, the hot tub has been closed. Don't know if that's a coincidence or if they just have not ever fixed it.”

  • Very convenient.
  • Hard mattress. Room was connected to another and walls were thin.

“Very convenient hotel located too many businesses that a traveler would want to visit. Close to the interstate but not so close that you could hear it.”

  • I did like the size of the room and the fridge and microwave.
  • I didn't like the bed it was very hard and I didn't sleep well at all.

“The hotel overall was ok but I didn't care for the beds. I don't understand why almost all hotels have to have such hard beds. That was the worst thing about it. Otherwise, I would stay there again but not now because of the bed.”

  • I was very impressed with the handicapped bathroom.
  • I had to chase down one roach in the bathroom.

“The staff was very helpful and came and sprayed when we found the roach and discounted our bill. The lobby was comfortable and I had a microwave and refrigerator in my room as well as a coffee maker. Overall, we were pleased.”

  • The rooms have been remodeled recently and all the room are on one floor with parking outside door.
  • The night I was there Internet in my half of the hotel was not working.

“It was a very nice quite hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The desk people were very nice and were prepared for my arrival with exactly what I ask for.”

  • Friendly staff.
  • Hard Beds, Room not clean.

“Upon arriving we checked in to the room. Found the bathroom dirty (floor had dirty wet marks with hair in several locations). Changed rooms and gave discount. Had trouble sleeping and backs were all hurting in the morning because the beds were uncomfortable. Cancelled the rest of the stay and went to another motel.”

  • Nothing.
  • We were put into the wrong room upon arrival. The price quoted was incorrect. The cleanliness of the room was pretty bad.

“If you do no care how you spend your money or cleanliness of a hotel room, then this hotel is for you.”

  • Good continental breakfast, friendly staff, decent price.
  • Carpet in room made kids' feet BLACK, 17 motorcycles stayed next to us.

“We stayed at this hotel for three nights with two adults, an infant, and a three-year-old. The room looked and smelled very clean, bed was comfortable and other furniture was great. However, the floors were really dirty and made my kids' feet completely black on the bottoms, so we wore shoes or socks the entire time. Breakfast was good and had a decent variety. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Nice small playground and pool, (although two pools were advertised). Convenient to just about anything you want to see or do in Springfield, and is actually one block of off Route 66.Not really the hotel's fault but a group of notorious motorcyclists stayed the first night we were there. There were 17 of them and they kept us up until 2:00 which is not fun with a 13-month-old who is teething.”
